I don't see the hype of this place. For those who like it, keep on enjoying it.Customer service was great.
Ordered and paid for among others 2-pc chickjoy with palabok via drive-thru around 9:30 pm, 7/15. Opened the food container when I got home to much disappointment. I was handed a (wrong) bag that included 1-pc chickjoy and spaghetti. It was late and I was starving so I ate the chicken and pie. Because not everyone eats sweet spaghetti!Since I didn’t get what I paid for I want the difference refunded, least that you could do. I tried calling first to get the problem rectified but no one’s picking up the phone. Thought a review is needed so this may not happen again…
I love Jollibee and the food they serve unfortunately this particular establishment ran out of spicy chicken (which was the main reason for my visit and online order) I was quite disappointed as to how they don't make spicy chicken in the evenings as it was only 6 pm and they were not making anymore. So food is still good, but the experience could have been better. I was left to substitute my order with the regular chicken. Definitely a bummer to both myself and the kids.
Spicy chicken deluxe sandwich with pineapple juice and Jollibee toy. It was my friend's first time here. She really liked the peach mango pie and pineapple juice
It is a little bit dirty to my liking. The restroom was nasty. The staff are in a rush, never listening to what you need. I wish they can slow down, and save you like they care. They made us wait for about an hour, we ordered spicy family meal. After the wait, they brought us the meal, very warm, and looking good. But when we started eating we're not spicy.I went inside and asked why it was not spicy. The guy said this is the most spice they have. I said yes that's the most spice you have but that doesn't mean it is spicy. It is seasoned well but it wasn't what I ordered.I was particularly disappointed because the guy said we will get our food in 20 minutes. 35 minutes into the wait, he came to our window and said we should get our food in about 11 minutes. And then 25 minutes later we got our food. Not spicy ? ?.These people don't know the concept of time. Or they just don't care that people have other things to do. I don't like when people tell me 10 minutes, and then they make me wait for 45 minutes. That's a big difference there.
Not many locations, even if you don't want to try the food at least give the mango peach pie a try. I'm not a fan of most places pies but this is one of a kind. The chicken comes with gravy dip which is a nice twist if you are tired of the same old spot.
Fried chicken!
I stayed nearby in National City for the San Diego Comic-Con back in November. For dinner, I decided to go get some Jollibee. I placed my order on the mobile app before driving over to pick up my food. I ordered the usual palabok fiesta with 2 pcs Chickenjoy, pineapple juice, and an aloha yumburger. My order wasn't quite ready when I arrived, but it was only a short wait. I was there at about 6 pm on a Saturday night and the parking lot was pretty packed. Everything I had ordered, tasted good and was pretty standard for any Jollibee.
Chicken and sides tasted good but they forgot my pies. This was even after asking about them and did not find out until I got home pies were missing.Update: I visited next day and manager gave me pies and added two seasonal pies to try for my trouble. I did also mention that when I got my spicy chicken order no one told me they only had legs and did not notice until I got home; I like breast too and slightly disappointed not to get any on my order. Manager appreciated the feedback and was quite friendly.
Went to National City to go shopping and notice the new and improved Jollibee. So we gave it a try and they did not disappoint. Spaghetti and spicy chicken!! Ofcourse Gravy on the side!! Dont forget the dessert pie . I had all of them, yummm!
