Coming from California, it's hard to believe I now live in a town with no doughnut shops. So whenever I'm home, San Diego, I have to visit my favorite donut shop. The donuts are ALWAYS fresh and you can still get great customer service!
Best donuts in San Diego when they're fresh. I've bought stale ones a couple times...and yes, I still ate them (embarrassed emoji)
