After numerous visits and all had bad customer service has nothing to do with lack of staff. I will no longer visit this location. Food never comes back the way you order it and the staff has no customer service training! Will never return. The host, was terrible and has no knowledge how to treat customers who have been waiting a long time to be seated, not even a simple greet!
This is out to go place for breakfast but this time we went for dinner, we ordered our food once it came it was cold we got no utensils or napkins, I had to ask for it. I asked for syrup and I’m not sure what she got me, but there was one across from our table I got up and just got it myself, asked for sugar she said there wasn’t any regular only Splenda yet when I left I saw boxes of them, we had to ask for water, got no refills on coffee never came back and checked on us I had to hunt her down. Very dissatisfied.
Very wonderful experience, and third time here.We came to this location due to a bad experience at another Denny's.Rather than posting it online and identifying the store we'll just let it slide.I recall the intro song for Cheers that goes "sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name."The staff doesn't know our names, but they know our faces.Very friendly staff that goes the extra mile, and if they mess up, be patient and give them a chance.Our server is always Isai and she is very courteous, friendly and tries to make sure our experience is positive
My dish was delicious!!! Ordered a side of garlic toast that ended up cancelling cause I was finished with my dish and it had not arrived. Other than that everything was pretty good ? skillets are the best! Bourbon chicken skillet, amazing!! We got a discount for staying at the Hotel nearby.
Great food, great service. All staff very friendly and tentative. Place was clean and organized, Restrooms were also very clean. Plenty of free parking. Will definitely visit again when I return to San Diego.
I went with my family to eat some breakfast, we ordered some breakfast platters and I got the country fried steak. All the good we ordered (including appetizers) were very salty and almost non edible. It seems like this restaurant has some plates where they don't measure the salt levels and just throw at random because the steak I got was not salty. Maybe it was just a one time thing. Aside from that, the place was clean, nice staff, good location, always parking, never packed.
The food as always ? delicious ?, the service provided as expected, friendly, fast and courteous. I recommend this place to everyone ?
Been to this location a few times now, always been treated well, no issues whatsoever, even during crazy pandemic times they were not strict about mask policies, very open minded and polite at all times. Great service too, more than you would think!
Plain and simple, Denny's is good. I appreciate a reliable meal. I always have leftovers that I can indulge in at a later time. Denny's is good for families because of the prices and you are not limited to one cuisine.I've corralled at Denny's for a business lunch, after hours dancing, just because, dinner, balling on a budget.I'm impressed how the menu keeps reinventing itself while including traditional diner food like the patty melt. On this visit, I tried the American Patty Melt. I ordered swiss cheese and added sauteed mushrooms. The burger was pre-seasoned, the buttered bread was grilled to a slight crisp with flavorful caramelized onions and mushrooms. Oh mios dios. Not even exaggerating! And if you love coke---cola that is, this Denny's has the right carbon mixture for addiction.Dianna was a server sent from the Gods of Customer Service clouds. I've eaten at Denny's throughout San Diego and across the states, and this location shines with service, quality of food, quick turnaround, and customer care. Mom & I went to Dennys in National city next to In & Out Burger (Might as well give In&Out Burger a plug too!) Take the 'Mile of Cars' exit off Interstate 5.Mom had breakfast and I had the $9.99 Sr. Chicken fried steak meal. Thats a smaller plate full of a good ole favorite. It comes with the main item, garlic bread & 2 sides so I got a dinner salad & Hashbrowns extra crispy.My dinner came to me cooked to perfection.Mom said her scrambled eggs weren't cooked as hard as last time. I forgot to ask her if that was a good or bad thing so you'll have to be very specific with your order if it matters to you.Not sure how many wait staff were on today but our food came very quickly and the place had quite a few customers there. So I'd say our waiter was super prompt. He gets 5 out of 5 stars and so does my food.But- my bad!...as i forgot to notice my waiters name..Today was a very good visit to Dennys. There almost always is something that could use fixing when I visit Dennys but not this time! Thanks Dennys!
