I have been coming here for the last 5 years and I have never been let down. I absolutely love the Cali Surfin’ burrito. It’s always piping hot and the flavors are just so dang good. I love their rice and beans. Top it all with their guaca salsa which is spicy but so flavorful and you’re in it to win it. The tacos never disappoint either. You really can’t go wrong here!
I thought there was an odd flavor in my enchiladas and then I found a Bay Leaf. I don't know if this is a Californian Mexican thing but I definitely don't like it, all I could taste was bay leaf. Nothing like New Mexico sauce, maybe an acquired taste??? Habanero sauce and beans were good, rice was bland.
I had a great experience the other day. My order was made fast and the food was delicious as always. I gotta say the menudo was pretty damn good. I highly recommend it.
Burritos are decent size, tasted really good. Also the sauces are delicious and just the right heat. Overall, not bad.
I like that this place has a renovated neqerr look they also have great great salsas! Ive been here twice both times orderd my go to a simple carne asada burrito . Both times i have received dried carne asada like it was sitting around and just re heated , this last time my burrito was much smaller than most places , i wasnt thrilled about paying an extra 99c surcharge for carne asada while other beef items didnt get that charge .I like this place but wont add it to the list of my go to solid place
I have been here a few times and the burritos I have tried have all been good I recommend them. I've tried the carne asada and carnitas burritos along with the wet burrito variants.The carne asada fries and the surf and turf fries leave a lot to be desired. They give you about 2lbs of fries drenched in sour cream and some fake looking guacamole with maybe an ounce of meat sprinkled over the fries then covered up by all the creams to hide the fact they they are shorting you on meat but charging you extra because of Covid. The Surf and Turf fries only had 6 medium size shrimp. I was at least expecting 2 skewers worth of shrimp seeing as I was charged $17.00 for the order. If they are going to charge restaurant prices they should give you restaurant quality. Plates are filled with filler and short on the meats you paid for.I would recommend this place if you need a quick bite and don't care too much about the quality of what they serve when it comes to the fries type orders. As I said the burritos I have tried were good.Overall I think anyone can find something they like on the menu.Also workers wore no masks and they did not enforce customers to wear masks so Google should change this info on their Health and Safety section.
I definitely recommend this location and great place to take the family for some great flavorful, big portions and great price .
Wow $1 for salsa. If u buy ur meal u wont get salsa u will get charge $1. Wont come here no more ????
