So nice to pop in to an "old school" steakhouse, and this one is about 80 years old, if I remember correctly. The menu is straightforward, and they've managed to avoid bistro-ing their food. This is a plus to me:) Most importantly, they know how to cook beef, and the service has always been friendly and efficient. Another good meal here, I'm already making up an excuse to come back soon:)
I would not recommend this place. I don’t understand the great reviews it has received. I have past this restaurant for many years but never had a chance to come in because having children they are not interested in having a steak dinner. I don’t understand why the food took a while when they were basic ingredients on the plate. The steak was cooked fine at the right temperature but had absolutely no seasoning . Their was no reason to continue eating it if their is no enjoyment in food. The broccoli was brown and the carrots were hard like they gave them a flash steam. When I thought well they can’t go wrong with the mash potatoes. Well yeah, they did. Flavorless. I wanted to take a picture but was kind of embarrassed because I was sat near the cashier station. I wanted to give my feedback in person but was not looking forward to have others hear me. I hope they take this post into consideration. A little salt and pepper goes along way.
Amazing bread, solid steaks and prime rib, excellent coconut shrimp on special, and live music that wasn't too loud and that was better than you'd expect at a restaurantIt misses the 5-star mark for not having some stand-out flavor that you still think back on months later, but you can expect a reliably satisfying meal in an atmosphere inspired by Hollywood of yesteryear. It was just what we needed after a long work week.
Made reservations here after my proposal. It looked so beautiful in pictures and I was so happy to find a place so that my fiancé can appreciate a good steak. We ended up coming in about 30 minutes early so I understand if we had to wait but they ended up not even having my reservation down at all. That was okay because they sat us down right away, that was good, but we ended up waiting about 30 minutes to ORDER our drinks, it was about an hour to ORDER our food and the group next to us was handled with care and helped first even though we have been waiting an hour. We got our food around the hour and a half mark and had to hurry up because we haven't even touch our food yet and my mom had surgery done that made it difficult to sit for long.I would not recommend to bring someone here after an event. Do not make any plans afterwards. Confirm your reservation beforehand. The filet mignon was good quality steak but was pretty under seasoned. I won't be coming here again.
Prime Rib for lunch- wonderful service too

We had the petite cut of prime rib and it was delicious! Came with potatoes, veggies, rolls, and salad. Very large portions and excellent customer service. Highly recommend.
