This is a fabulous spot for dinner in downtown Napa. The restaurant is located in the Culinary Institute, which in itself, is so unique, but everything else is so fantastic too. The staff was warm and welcoming, which always makes for a good start. We were seated at a table outside on the patio next to the big beautiful garden. It was wonderful. The food, much of which came straight out of their garden, was off the charts good. We had the cheese plate and tomato salad with stone fruit to start, and then we had the swordfish kabobs and tomahawk pork chop as our mains. Everything was just amazing and delicious. We finished with the night off with peach cobbler - which was very very yummy. The wine choices were great, and service was absolutely superb!! I highly recommend trying this place next time you’re in Napa, you will not be disappointed.

Amazing!!!

The menu is very innovative. The presentation is lovely. The flavors married perfectly. The roasted octopus was tender and seasoned perfectly and accompanied by a tasteful and beautiful array of fresh vegetables, hummus, saffron rice crisped on the outside with barberries scattered about to provide a sweet/sour surprise. The flavors all have a mild but delightfully noticeable middle eastern presence. The meal was fabulous, the flavors enticing, the portions just right. Most enjoyable evening and a meal that will not fade from memory! The tomato salad was FABULOUS!

We had high expectations for this restaurant but the food was bland and very expensive. Maybe it was just an off choice( we all ordered same dish) but we were disappointed to say the least. No complaints about the service!

Visit of special friend, retired chef. First time visiting The Grove. Food was excellent although menu was limited. Service was excellent! Ambiance (outdoors) was a bit lacking.

This is a real hidden gem. We didn’t know what to expect in the grove but we loved it. The food was exquisite and the ambiance was really relaxing. - we had the best time!!

Overall disappointing experience. The starters were very good, however the main entrees were delivered to the table cold. Our Server was quick to respond and rectify the situation. Once the food items were served a second time, everything was as it should have been, piping hot and quite delicious!.

Way too hot inside to enjoy the meal.

Fabulous meal with lamb ribs, swordfish kebabs and truffle mushroom pasta as highlights.

The brunch menu is limited, but service is friendly and it has a nice casual outdoor seating for eating. The burger is amazing. The lamb 'stew' dish should be taken off the menu. It is nothing like a stew, more like tomato sauce with a sprinkling of lamb.
