The Dutch Door has such wonderful staff. They are always pleasant and do their best to make your order right. They recently very kindly expedited my order upon request (luckily they could do it!) so I could get back to work on time. Besides that, the food is so fun! High quality local ingredients, uncommon flavors, and an appropriate quantity never leave me hungry, but it does leave me wanting more! Bonus: all of their serving utensils and takeaway packaging are compostable! Can't be mad at trying to do the right thing.
There I was just walking around minding my own business when I spotted an old friend scanning the menu at the Double D, he said "let's grab a burger and rehash the time we put that live carp in the seafood display at the Safeway"We laughed all through lunch and had a great burger too.

Yesterday we ordered the Spanish Fried Chicken and N'awlins Tenders for a take-away picnic (using their online ordering) and the food was on time and very good. Not too salty with just the right amount of spice, and very flavorful. The cookies were heavenly.
Visiting from out of town! If we had a place like this in TN I would eat there every day! Heck, maybe Dutch Door will ship to TN ! Food to die for!! The best bahn mi and fried chicken sandwich on the planet! Awesome care taken to prepare sauces which were VERY tasty! Truffle fries out of this world yummy!! The owners of Dutch Door know how to do this right!! The owners and staff go out of their way to make this a wonderful dining experience.Continued success and thank you for an amazing meal.
It KILLS ME! to write this review because of my selfish foodie ways and wanting this place to stay the hidden gem that it is. But in good conscience I can not restrain myself. First off if you want the best smile in town and A1 service for a door in the wall!? This is the place.Now the food! I've been eating here every chance I get and am throughly bummed when they are closed or sold out (often). The QUALITY, which is responsible and delicious and the CONSISTENCY of their food and service is going to be amazing everytime.Napa is seriously lucky to the Dutch Door downtown. Hands down the best Sandwiches in town and I'm not the one to say something is the best very often, but in this case it's true!?
I love everything about this place. Food. People. Surroundings. Weather. I ask the guy for the special of the day and he told me about the Crispy Orange Chicken Sando. And it's DELICOUS!!! Check this place out and you won't regret it.

Amazing customer service! You can tell these people are passionate about their food. The server explained to us where the food came from and how fresh the items were. The food was delicious. The best fried chicken I've had in a long time. It was crispy and not dry! This is a new favorite spot for me.
