Let me tell you about Papa Joe's. I recently moved to American Canyon, just outside of Napa about a little less than a year ago. I've tried tons of different Pizza out here, specifically trying to find a independent or hole in the wall style location. While I was impressed with some of the chains out here such as Mountain Mike's, and Pizza Guys, which I'd happily give a 3 out of 5 for in the chain business, nothing comes close to an independent and I needed something special. I was turned onto Papa Joe's by a local who I work with that has lived in Napa for nearly 20 years. If you're looking for what I would call a football pizza, as in a pizza that you could order on a Monday night or a Sunday afternoon while watching all of the games this should be your go-to. Without asking for extra cheese they tend to put on a generous amount, all of their toppings that I have tried have been exceptional and top quality. When you ask for something well done it's always well done, and even without asking it's baked incredibly well. They're also rather famous for their ranch dressing which they make in house, you're going to want to buy the large side of it to go along with all of your crust. I assure you it's worth it. I've not tried much other than the pizza there and I think I had ordered an appetizer before, so I can't speak too much on their sides and salads but the pizza is of exceptional quality. Napa is known for a lot of its food, but I feel that it hurts in terms of pizza that you can just grab and go whenever, and I really would love to see a place that offers pizza by the slice that isn't just for lunch. So for an independent place like this to be around I count myself lucky, because while they only do lunch slices, whenever I'm in need for a full size pie I know I'm going to get something not only worth my money, but incredibly tasty. Do yourself a favor and go to Papa Joe's when you're looking for an everyday pizza in Napa but don't want some kind of fancy wood fired sit down pizza.

Any other time I would have given a 5 star rating. So disappointed in the customer service provided by Katie. Very rude and short, not willing to adjust an order (which MANY times had been adjusted previously). The pizza bread was burnt-overall hoping they don’t continue to hire people who are unable to provide decent customer service.
Downright delicious pizza. High quality and consistently good. When my folks visit from out of state, this is always their top takeout request.
The business owner parked in a handicapped parking spot while delivering pizzas. I asked him not to park there because I was waiting for my ride. He refused and proceeded to illegally block a spot for my ride to pick me up, stating that he had to do what he had to do. Even though I asked and there were plenty of open legal parking spaces for him to use. Meanwhile my ride arrives and we have to wait for him leave so I can get in the vehicle. On his way out he states that I am lucky that I'm in a wheelchair otherwise...Otherwise what?I've been ordering from them for years but refuse to now because of this behavior. Terrible ethics and me first behavior.
Always loved papa joes. Great pizza and amazing garden salad. They deliver quickly as well.
Was thinking about stopping here today.Read review by Steve a week ago, and the owners response...Guess he only wants people like him (selfserving) in his store.We'll go to someplace more understanding of others.
Pizza here is mediocre but definitely not worth the price, little Caesars probably a better option
Their pizzas are amazing. We are thankful for the amount of toppings. They offer thin slice pizzas. This is an awesome local establishment.
Napa's best pizza and they do delivery. Skip door dash go with them you won't be disappointed.
