An honest to goodness diner in downtown Napa.Great if you want a burger or pie or even some breakfast food, but don't want to see words like "aioli" "deconstructed" or "artisanal". Nation's won't break the bank, and it usually hits the spot pretty well! Avoid this place if you want the "Napa Valley Experience", this spot predates the tourist takeover. Although it's a little tired, it's worth the walk if you wind up in downtown Napa and don't want to dine within earshot of tribal house music.
Nation's Giant Hamburgers & Great Pies is the home of one of fast food's best hamburgers. Hamburger so thick I must struggle to open my mouth wide enough to bite into it!. Nation's burger features a very well sized beef patty, cheese/bacon (if you desire), & a consistent, generous portion of super fresh toppings; lettuce, tomatoes, & onions, etc. Always enjoy it with their french fries and/or classic shakes.Nation's variety of pies are very popular & a favorite, traditional dessert to serve during holidays/family get-togethers. I love their pecan & coconut cream pies.Honestly, when you first go into Nation's, it looks like your typical dreary, greasy spoon, hamburger joint. Nation's is not marketing its food at JUST the kids. It also wants to appeal to teenagers & adults. Why else would they be famous for offering GIANT SIZE HAMBURGERS & FRESH BAKED PIES? It's for teenagers & adults to enjoy too! Nation's isn't ONLY for kids who enjoy McDonalds, Burger King, etc. Nation's wants to appeal to the ENTIRE FAMILY, which includes teenagers & adults, with larger appetites. I FONDLY recollect when my parents took me to my 1st Nation's when I was a kid & ALSO when I was a PARENT taking my OWN KIDS to Nation's. For me, I feel a warm, euphoric sense of nostalgia at any Nation's. ??

Great burgers, delicious pies, nice service but in a not so great location.
I arrived at 10:50 and the doors were locked. The employees looked at me and just ignored me. I’m very disappointed that I couldn’t try this place.
Took a long time and there was no one else in the resturant. Burgers are ok. Fries seemed to taste like freezer burn.
Being generous giving 3 stars. Had to clean a table myself and there was only 3 other people in the restaurant.
I'm enjoying a fantastic cheeseburger with bacon and a chocolate Oreo milkshake and the wonderful ladies that are working here now have provided the utmost customer service that I have ever experienced I feel so welcomed and I feel like I'm at home on a good day this is the cleanest most amazing fast food restaurant I think I've ever experienced and I would give it five stars again and again and I think I just might under a different name anyway I'd like to say thank you to the manager and thank you to the wonderful other lady that I forget her name but everybody that works here is amazing and a note to corporate I think they need a raise cuz they are doing more than more than what is necessary they are amazing.
Came to this restaurant, I asked for the breakfast plate , the guy who took my order was really rude , had bad attitude, ok can deal with that no problem, when my food was ready came to get the plate and literally this fools was washing my silverware fork and knife by hand so disgusting! I’m really disappointed of this action, management please do something about it .
