Came to Napa to attend a wedding and the ladies in the group were happy to read about availability of a hair dresser (which was unfortunately non-existent). Nice facilities including a gym and swimming pool. Although name included 'Spa' it had been closed for a while already. Upon check out, I realized that our rate included fees added for the amenities that I didn't know were being charged! If I knew, may be I would have partaken of them. - free coffee in the morning at the lobby - free sparkling wine in the early evening provided in the lobby Further, the bell attendant that was servicing us - although very personable - had the luggage of our group mates fall off the luggage cart and hit my niece. This because he was the only bell attendant on duty and was in a hurry to get as much tips as possible. A wonderful experience for all 4 of us. My daughter and I were surprised but incredibly pleased to see that yoga was offered in one of the outside spaces with the amazing Nikki! She did a great job with waking us up in such a relaxing manner and it was truly unforgettable! Both children really loved the s’mores that are offered 6.30-7.30 every evening, and the whole family enjoyed being able to sit outside by the fire. Comfortable beds, perfect air con, and a lovely pool outside which was enjoyed by the whole family. Would love to see Hailey’s restaurant advertised more, as we only discovered it because of yoga- however, the stay in Napa was made even better with this hotel.
Ok, the hotel was close to becoming lower only because of the restaurant. The in house restaurant had very limited menu and nothing for our family to enjoy. The Cesar salad was costly (more than one would expect). We did not eat there the rest of the trip since it was mostly sea food. I observed that most customers just had stuff delivered. The hotel itself was a good value.
This Marriott Hotel and spa can be a very fun place for families. It has a beautiful and large pool. But the most fun is the Barbque area in the back of the hotel where you sit outside and eat barbque and can play different yard games in the grass . The kids and adults can play while you eat. Every night you can drink free wine during the happy hour. ( you pay $20 for amenities as part of your stay tho) The other restaurant is good but could use a more varied menu. There could be more offerings for kids and adults. In fact, the Marriott market place really needs more choices like ice cream. The prices for those market place items are really high. But overalll, it is a very nice and big hotel with lots of really nice outdoor places in the patio to sit and eat and drink.
Great hotel in Napa. Not right downtown but close enough. Rooms are nice and clean. Grounds are really nice. They have an outdoor area to grab a drink and hang out. Outdoor TVs, dart boards, ping pong tables and corn hole. Super fun to just relax outside and play games with friends.\\nThe bar inside is nice and they have some good drinks. The front desk staff is a little under educated on how to treat guests. Not very helpful with requests.
I can’t fathom the experience and emotion I went through with booking this property. I booked this hotel 5 weeks in advance to celebrate my 5th year anniversary, traveling 214 miles to Napa and my room was cancelled two days book before check in. I spoke to the hotel customer agents immediately and a couple of days before coming down to Napa just to confirm that my reservation was intact and I was told everything is good. However, they cancelled it anyways and when I spoke to a supervisor over the phone to fix the issue I was called out that it my fault instead of admitting to Marriott Hotel mistake. To cut the long story short she offer to book the hotel at $360/night but when I got my receipt she lied and she booked the room at a current price of $401. I have never experienced this type of incompetence with Marriott but to say the fact it is disappointing that a high caliber hotel like Marriott can treat is guest like dirt even when I’m the one paying out of my pocket to stay at their hotel.
I paid HOW MUCH FOR THIS!?!?!?? Okay I get it, supply and demand but I expected at least a 4 star hotel not a 3 at best. It’s dated. The bed wasn’t comfortable (seemed over due for switching out). There was a crack between the door and the door jamb so that I could literally use it as a peep hole or peep slot. Room wasn’t cleaned until later afternoon exactly when I was back in my room after being out for hours so I declined it. I was upgraded to a suite. Apparently “suite” means a garden view instead of a view of the parking lot. This was near the most money I have ever spent per night at any hotel and I love luxe travel. This was not luxe. This should not branded a Marriott. All that said, I had a roof over my head and the a/c and heat worked so it was perfectly functional. Did I mention check in was a clusterfoxtrot? I also texted a question using the app and I didn’t receive a response. The M Club lounge was closed. Just nothing that I expected given the $$$$
This is a great hotel. The staff is wonderful. The hotel is clean and nicely decorated and conveniently located. The pol looked nice although we didn’t use it . Our room was clean and comfortable . The bedding and pillows were very nice . We didn’t use the restaurant but the bar at night was lively and bartenders were terrific.
Incredible stay here while visiting Napa Valley! It looks like the hotel was just renovated and it honestly surpassed our expectations of a Marriott. They have two new outside areas - one with corn hole, ping pong tables, darts, and comfortable seating with fire pits and TV’s and the other had a more relaxing feel with comfy outdoor furniture under a pavilion. Both fantastic! They also have very fun perks like free wine pours in the evening and s’mores! The rooms were clean and new and the beds comfortable. The staff was very nice \\u0026 the breakfast at the restaurant inside the hotel was great! Also - GREAT location. 10 minutes to downtown Napa and turning out of the hotel will get you onto the highway that houses hundreds of wineries in the valley. We drove only 25 minutes and were in winery heaven. I will definitely be back!
We had an opportunity to spend two nights at the Marriott with our teenage daughters, and it was a lovely stay. Live music one night out on the patio, a variety of beautiful hammocks among the Sequoias for relaxation, and the pool in the evening was especially beautiful. There is an on-site restaurant that serves excellent food (breakfast burrito was amazing) and were VERY accommodating of my daughter’s severe dairy allergy. My husband and I enjoyed drinks at the bar one evening, which was hopping and fun. Complimentary wine was served as were s’mores in the evening of for guests. You can rent bikes on site and ride all over Napa which we enjoyed immensely. The staff! Staff were friendly, seemed to genuinely enjoy interacting with their guests and team work was apparent. We spent 2 weeks traveling through Northern California and this was by far our favorite hotel experience. The management of this Marriott location has done an incredible job making this a memorable experience for their guests. We highly recommend making this Marriott part of your traveling experience!
