My wife and I really enjoyed this winery in Napa Valley. They produce one of my favorite cabernets, State Lane. The atmosphere at the winery itself was also very tranquil. We made our trip out during the week when traffic was low and had a wonderful time tasting wines under their shade trees.

My husband and I visited Monticello Winery in March. We had a scheduled appointment and we’re fortunate to have the General Manager join us for our tasting. It was a wonderful experience beginning at the top of the building in the boardroom to the wood paneled club rooms below. He talked of the history of Monticello, his involvement and how the coped during the pandemic while we enjoyed the delicious wines, with a very special tasting to finish. It was one of the best wine tasting experiences we’ve enjoyed and of course took some our favorites home to savor later.

I arrived early in the morning. The place was still quiet and peaceful. The main house was modeled after Jefferson’s Monticello. The landscape was beautiful. There were a few wine tasting areas spread out in the house and on the yard. Sue is really nice and sweet. I enjoyed my tasting experience very much. They have a trolley tour arriving every morning between 10-11am. If you want to avoid the crowd you can come outside the window. The group was not loud at all when I was there.

I am glad I chose to visit Monticello Winery on my birthday. The wines were exquisite. We loved talking to Linda. She is a wine pro and she never gets tired of giving you information about the wines and how they are made. It was an amazing experience. The hospitality was beyond. They adjusted us even though we had no reservations and the moment we told it was my birthday,we were served with the amazing amazing one of the best tasting champagnes. Loved the experience. Totally recommend and will visit again.

We had a lovely time at Monticello! The wine was amazing, everyone we met who worked there was incredibly kind, and the property was beautiful. It’s clear that this is a well-loved, family owned vineyard and it had a more comfortable and relaxing vibe than some of the larger wineries around Napa. I would highly recommend making a stop here - I know we will be the next time we visit Napa.

Me and my wife celebrated my 50th birthday in Sausalito and Napa! Our first day in Napa started with an unforgettable experience at Monticello! The estate was absolutely elegant and Doug was very charismatic and knowledgeable!! Thank you all so much for exposing us to deliciously complex spirits amidst vast beauty and serenity!

This winery was a great find. The tasting menu was mostly red wines, all of which were excellent and the tasting was very reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Great atmosphere with a cozy terrace and views of the vineyard.

Came here as part of an arranged trolley tour and loved it. Really pretty and staff was friendly. All of the wines we tried we all really enjoyed!

Sue was our Host and she was fantastic. He Loyalty towards the Winery and Hospitality towards the Guests was what attracted us the most. The Wine was fantastic, but I always value Service more than the content. And This Winery scored high on both aspects. I wish I can be a Wine Club Member here. It somehow didn't happen

Not really the experience we were looking for. We were escorted down to a dark basement with funky red chandeliers which my husband loved but I thought were gaudy haha. We were there with a tour so it lacked personal and attentive experience we had when it was just the two of us. The wine was good but not as remarkable as others we tasted that day.
