Took $600, they canceled my reservation due to "technical issues" and won't refund the money or return my voice mails

Great presentation but food was marginal. Dessert was awful - no flavor with burnt top. Save your money. This isn’t worth the price and doesn’t give the dining experience on par with the cost. Wine selection was awful and the server said he can’t help with a wine choice because he doesn’t know white wines. In downtown Napa at the CIA no less? The wine fights were not good- again, not expectation of Napa nor CIA. Overall poor quality. And would never recommend. We spent $550 for 3 people and could have had a much better meal elsewhere.

The 3D presentation was ok but the food was very disappointing.!I should’ve read the prior reviews before buying my tickets.

One of a kind experience! But the food can be improved. The second course is sabich bowl, everything is way too salty, the pita chip, the humus… I couldn’t finish half of mine. Other guests felt the same about this one. The desert (rice pudding)was over burnt. It was almost three hours long. I enjoyed it a lot. But I do hope the event description could be more clear about this.

Just don't do it. Believe the negative reviews. I wish I would have. Such a disappointment, as this was supposed to be something special for my wife's birthday. The concept of having Le Petit Chef projected on the table and guiding you through a culinary experience is clever, but the execution was shockingly horrible. The food did not rise to the level of mediocre convention food. It wasn't fresh, it wasn't flavorful, except for the lime/ginger sorbet where the ginger was so overpowering that watching folks' facial expressions as they took their first...and for most, last...taste was comical. The desert was SO awful that no one...NO ONE...ate it. The video was low resolution and was just not well done. I don't know how the CIA can justify being associated with this thing and it as to be detrimental to their other eating establishments in the Copia complex. I'll not be back to Copia for fear that the same chefs and staff are involved with the other restaurants. One word for the experience: bummed One word for the food: gross

Pita chips and eggplant are too salty, bao is too dry

This was such an awesome way to spend my birthday! The staff was friendly, the food was phenomenal and the show was really cool. They projected scenes on the walls as well as the table which was amazing. I can’t wait to come back in the future. I wouldn’t have changed a thing and I am recommending this experience to all of my friends and family.

We’ve been wanting to try 3D dining & found open spots on the day we’re staying in Napa. It was a last minute decision so we did not look for reviews before booking. Since 3D dining would be the highlight, we lowered our expectations for the food. We basically tried not to expect for the food to be Michelin quality but for it to be at least palatable. Much to our dismay, the food was horrible. To be specific, airplane or cafeteria food tastes better than the food served at CIA at Copia’s Le Petit Chef. It is unbelievable how that kind of food passed their quality check & it got served on the table. Maybe there was no quality check or taste test before those recipes made it to the menu. We would like to know who the chef / chefs were. The amuse bouche was the only acceptable tasting item on a menu of 6. 1st course had very salty pita chips. Our seatmates told our servers about this. Only thing they could do was apologize. 2nd course used shrimps that seemed to have come from the frozen section of Costco (yes! Not even fresh shrimps were used). There was no distinct flavor. The intermezzo had a very strong taste (of lemongrass or ginger). It’s supposed to cleanse your palate & prep it for the next course but instead it left a bad lingering taste. It made us gag. The short rib was bland. They probably ran out of salt for putting it all in the pita chips. The other table was laughing & loudly & jokingly looked for the salt. Lastly, the rice pudding brí»lée was a joke. It didn’t have the consistency of a pudding & the way it was burnt was not brí»lée quality. The pairing for the whole course was not good. A number of people were saying maybe because it’s the culinary institute, the chefs, servers, etc were students… Maybe… but that’s not an excuse to serve below average food. I was a student before & we did functions / events where we planned a menu, properly calculated the measurements of ingredients for our recipes, did taste tests & our teachers checked the quality.

Amazing! So entertaining, my wife had the pleasure of sitting next to chef’s mom, Terry & uncle Chris. Made for a wonderful evening, especially seeing how proud they both were. Truly enjoyed the experience

The noise level question I hope is not really a rating but more an observation. It was an incredible experience, our host was amazing, the young man who ran the cocktail hour reception was amazing, all the servers were polite, respectful, kind. It was my mother's birthday and exceeded her expectations by so much. The bartender in front took photos for us & was so sweet and helpful. We hope to share this experience with family & friends soon. Thank you.
