Waiting for a table at Zuzu's next door, we decided to have a drink. Nice open place. friendly service, and didn't mind that we were just bidding time.
Take you time to sample and share as much as you can. Everything was excellent. And be sure to try their version of Flan (it's not the usuall wiggly bland custard) and the after dinner magical iced coffee.

Everything we chose to eat and drink was delicious and different from other tapas I've had before. The sangria was awesome, not too sweet. Atmosphere fast paced. Loved it!
It's difficult to find a good Spanish restaurant outside of Spain, this is indeed a real experience. Service was great. Wine recommendation spot on.

We were looking for a quintessential Spanish tapas bar and La Taberna exceeded expectations. Granted, we’ve been to plenty of tapas places around Spain so our bar was pretty high. While this place is great for a quick snack and drinks, one can easily eat enough tapas to make a meal. The food was unique, fresh, flavorful, authentic and above all tasty!! And it wasn’t just the food, the service was superb. The waitress was patient, knowledgeable, and made great recommendations. Definitely worth a stop for visitors and locals alike! PS - The pork bocadillo was phenomenal and the stellar standout of the menu!
