I’ve been a loyal customer for several years, but lately it seems the quality has changed. The last two visits I’ve gotten an assortment of cupcakes and they were all dry & stale. So disappointing because there’s not many cupcakes shops still around post-pandemic. Come on Kara’s, I want to give you my business but I need you to address the consistency of quality.
Kara’s Cupcakes are fantastic! Any trip to San Francisco should include stopping by, they are the best anywhere.
Customer service was amazing! The two guys that helped serve me were so funny and helpful with helping me and my family with directions in town, and which cupcake to pick! would recommend.
Customer service is horrible. We should have walked away when we saw how the young man at the register treated a previous customer. He was very rude and disrespectful. The cupcakes were so dry the paper baking cup wouldn't peel off (I understand, it happens). But even if these were the best cupcakes in the world, I wouldn't come back because of their customer service :(
Did not have a good experience. Will not come back felt discriminated against twice. We had a large group come in the morning and afternoon. Both times were rude and made feel us feel very uncomfortable. I never felt discrimination and disrespect on this level. If you are visiting please be aware.
Horrible customer service! Unfortunately our wholeParty of 11 was treated Poorly. Not only once but twice! We were looking forward to try the beautiful cupcakes but were quickly discriminated and treated as if we were an inconvenience by the young man. We tried to bring to attention to The Who we thought was the supervisor but she seemed not to care. Very disappointing considering we came from sacramento to be treated poorly.
One of the best cupcakes around. It’s always confusing which one to try ?. My favourite is the chocolate.
Customer service was not friendly and more importantly the lemon and red velvet cupcake we had was dry. Looked pretty but didn't taste good.
We were visiting the Bay Area from Texas and stumbled across this place in the Oxbox Public Market. These cupcakes are filled with love! Beautiful packaging and awesome customer service.
Called to ask the flavors they had and made a special trip for some last minute birthday cupcakes, but by the time I got there, they barely had anything left. I got four of the tuxedo (only flavor that was left) and the last vanilla coconut. They added an extra cupcake to make a half dozen and threw a few little toppings in that said Happy Birthday after my son mentioned it was his birthday. Wished we had more variety to choose from, but honestly they were so amazing no one cared! Wish I could return to try more flavors. Wonderful cupcakes.
