Genova staff always the best. The place was packed but they handled the pressure professionally! I had an awesome carnivore selections of meat and cheese to go!I would have posted a picture but I ate my lunch too quick!
5 people behind the counter. 2 were making sandwiches, 1 was sweeping back there, 2 others.... maybe one was helping another customer. We watched someone walk out because there was no one at the register then it happened to my friend. They need to be more customer oriented. We almost left. And remind them to smile! If they don't like it there then work somewhere else.
My favorite sandwich place in Napa - Their BBQ chicken and BBQ ribs are also awesome. The only downside is how busy they are... and around lunch time you may have to wait quite a bit... the price to pay for high quality food!
HORRIBLE customer service i stood in line for 30minutea before realizing that they work of a ticket to make sandwiches. There was a lot of people standing in line all wondering why they were allowing people who just walked in to order before us, I then asked a worker and he was very rude with his reply. saying "you must not be local" .Dont waste your time, because they will waste yours and then be rude about it.
Genova Delicatessen is the place to go for Italian deli sandwiches. Wide assortment of breads & sandwich meat/cheese to choose from. I also recommend their calamari salad. For dessert, try enjoying their cannoli. Genova Delicatessen is as Italian as you can get. It is an Italian deli landmark in Napa. Try to avoid going between 11:30 am - 1:30 pm to avoid the very large deli sandwich lunch crowd, if possible.
Arguably the best place to get a sandwich in Napa! Good selection of deserts. Employees are delightful.
Original ownership, good Italian food, with outstanding New England Clam chowder. Who would have ever thought. I've been going there since 1993. Can get into funny banter with the guys at the coffee bar too.
Sometimes, there's a good sized line but the food is still very much worth the wait time. Best deli in the wine country
This is the Napa city outpost. We used to go to the Oakland store a lot. This one seems pretty much the same, even in inside appearance. Very good counter persons, delicious sandwiches, expensive.
Old fashion deli and quality is consistent from location to location. Great selection of sandwiches, hot and cold deli items. Also pasteries. Highly recommend
