Our tasting experience was just ok. It was a 2:30 appointment, and they had a table held for us, but all of the tables were getting baked by the sun, so we had to huddle in a corner to get some shade. While some may enjoy the full on sunshine, drinking big red wines in 75-80 degree weather without any shade can get old quickly.We love the Foley Food & Wine Society & vineyards, so we were hoping this was a great way to sample more Foley favorites. Maybe a better server, more welcoming reception or even a little bit more effort to accommodate outside tasting would have changed our experience, but in our first visit it fell short of our expectations.
Showed up Friday night hours before closing and the place was empty, not one person, inside except the nice man who instead of saying welcome how can I help you, he told us to actually go somewhere else ,even recommend the market next door because they had alcohol. Saturday morning we visit again but pass this establishment why because we over hear the same bearded man telling another couple to go elsewhere....Who ever owns this place now you know why you aren't making any money.
