Take you time to sample and share as much as you can. Everything was excellent. And be sure to try their version of Flan (it's not the usuall wiggly bland custard) and the after dinner magical iced coffee.
We were looking for a quintessential Spanish tapas bar and La Taberna exceeded expectations. Granted, we’ve been to plenty of tapas places around Spain so our bar was pretty high. While this place is great for a quick snack and drinks, one can easily eat enough tapas to make a meal. The food was unique, fresh, flavorful, authentic and above all tasty!! And it wasn’t just the food, the service was superb. The waitress was patient, knowledgeable, and made great recommendations. Definitely worth a stop for visitors and locals alike! PS - The pork bocadillo was phenomenal and the stellar standout of the menu!
Overall a good experience. This was our first night in Napa and stopped here on a whim looking for something to eat. The wine list was nice, reasonably priced. The good was good, but nothing that made me say I needed to have it again. The empanadas were good, but for us the patata bravas fell a bit short.

We had 5 different tapas and a Spanish beer and a local wine. Every single thing we got - from the head cheese croquets to the squid to the little sandwiches - was absolutely on point. Our server (maybe an owner?) was also knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. Had we not had other plans for dinner, we would have come back here for another meal, and will certainly visit again when next in Napa.
Modern and nice restaurant in the centre of Napa. Really great food and a great selection of drinks. Try the empanadas with cheese and honey! Nice staff!
I love this place. Better food than I got most places in Spain. The menu changes so you get nice variations with each visit. The food is creative but not fussy, very delicious and beautifully presented. Good wine selections too. I bring my visitors to the valley here and have not been disappointed.
