A favorite restaurant, reliable menu, service and overall a favorite place to dine!

This dinner was disappointing from start to finish. The tables are way too close together. It felt like dining with strangers. It took an hour to get our appetizer because they had a large party in the back room that they couldn't keep up with. Instead of bringing our appetizer they brought us a "free" appetizer of cold corn soup that was not good. Why not just make our actual appetizer? Or comp a drink or the appetizer we bought? Dinner came and my sister's chicken was literally chicken with a few vegetables for $28. You cannot add more veggies and maybe a few potatoes? Lobster risotto was ok, not a lot of lobster for $40. We won't be back. Too many other really good places in Napa and surrounding area.

Great atmosphere. Service at the bar can be hit or miss.

Chicken was the sleeper on the menu. Mary’s organic. Insane. Best dish I’ve had in years

Good food and service. We were very satisfied with the tomato, micro greens & burrata salad (although we could barely find the burrata); we then shared the lobster risotto which was lovely.

Awesome food and staff

I’m not really sure where to begin. First off they will not let you order in courses- you MUST give your whole order at once. We are a family that likes to share so trying to guess how hungry we are going to be before we see and consume the appetizers is a crap shoot. Never having eaten here we have no idea of portions sizes so this was very disappointing and set the tone for our experience. Next- the calamari is over 1/2 veggies but nowhere in the description does it tell you this. My family are not big veggie eaters so much of this was wasted. I can not eat potatoes so I asked for roasted carrots (on the menu in another dish) to replace them in the octopus salad. The switch wasn’t made. My husband’s ostrich burger was supposed to be medium it came out rare- very rare. It was sent back and replaced with a Cesar salad which was fantastic! The scallop dish lacked flavor but was a good size for the $. The squid ink pasta was fantastic and my son, who also got the ostrich burger, loved it. His came out a perfect medium. I was told the fries were great. We didn’t partake- but the cocktail menu was creative and looked delicious. Our waiter was great and our water glasses stayed full.

The service was horrible, the waiter brought out the wrong drinks, he was annoyed, unfriendly & had an attitude. The bottle of wine had so much sediment in the first glass. We stated as such and he grabbed the bottle and walked away irritated. We ordered the heirloom tomato salad which had no flavor. The squid ink fettuccini with mussels, shrimp and baby scallops was the worst meal. The 14oz ribeye was mediocre. This was so tasteless , & the pasta was mushy. We wanted to try somewhere new but will never go back again. This was a horrible experience.

Great food - atmosphere just OK. They appeared to be short-staffed, waited about 20 minutes for a cocktail, which was well worth the wait (Seize the Bourbon) but otherwise I'd recommend.

The woman that served us was lovely and very attentive, but the male waiter rather terse. Food was good but not great.
