Our group had a wonderful time at this venue. The staff was lovely and the wines were great. The grounds are beautiful and there are several scenes for social media photo ops.
Wonderful visit filled with delicious wines and great conversation! We truly enjoyed the ambiance of the tasting session and Gerald provided great insights into the wine making process. Seriously, this was an amazing experience.

I took a trip to Napa for birthday with my family. There were so many winery to choose form and it was a hard decision. We decided to book with black stallion winery, and let me tell you that was the best decision ever. Our tour guide was Tina. Tina was amazing and made the experience so easy, fun and knowledgeable. She told us about the different wines and grapes. The experience was amazing being that it was our first time. I want to think Tina for everything and for going above and beyond. I will definitely be back!!!!!
We have been a few times . We were blessed to come here for a Napa survivors dinner one time and then returned with family that happens to raise and love black stallions themselves . ?The wine is lovely and they the icing on the cake is that they are over the top DOG FRIENDLY❤️!! They go above and beyond for pups .. they bring them out bandana, treats, water and full packet of doggie bagsGrounds are so pretty !!!
I cannot say enough about this winery. I had my engagement party here and my guests cannot stop raving about the venue and the delicious wine. I would definitely recommend this venue for a private event. Jillian and the hospitality staff went above and beyond to make sure that our event had everything we needed for the perfect day. The gardens were immaculate and the tasting room and outdoor seating had great ambiance. 10/10 would recommend visiting, whether for and event or a tasting.
Smashing big reds, a lovely tasting room, and a really nice new outdoor tasting area, right on the Silverado trail. The flagships Bucephalus and Transcendent are top of the line, and there are amazing Zins as well. Looking for an excuse to book the amazing dining room. Really nice and helpful staff as well. We try not to miss Black Stallion.Still the best, dropped in from out of town for a few bottles, they still got it.
It’s more of a picnic than fine winetasting so we came there for three of us we were sat down the staff was very nice very friendly the ambience was OK a wine tasting at this place was pre-poured wine it came out in a tray and cheese crackers and jam were in a box due to Covid this is March 6 2022 and they still have Covid precaution cheese in a box like I said it’s more of a picnic than a fine wine tasting Experience
Wines were great and William was sensational!! Knowledgeable, witty, personable, and funny. He made the experience for us! ?
