Fabulous Saturday brunch on the lovely patio. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. We enjoyed the escargot, deviled eggs, croque madam, omelette, and peach sorbet—enjoyed every bite. The house made baguette and butter was delicious as well. It was a beautiful, relaxing meal.

I'm being unfair rating this restaurant as average as its clearly good but I can't justify the next TripAdvisor rating of Very Good unfortunately. They have a short menu which I appreciate. We sat in the tented outdoor section which was fine but I sense the indoor small section has a bit more of an atmosphere to it. The food we had was nicely presented and well prepared. Worth a visit if in town.

Came here for my soon to be sister in laws bach and bougie dinner. It was lovely, definitely an experience. Tried lots of things I never have before, and enjoyed almost all of it. The staff was friendly and helpful, but not pushy or annoying. Greg was my favorite waiter! We ordered practically the entire menu, or at least it felt like it, and shared everything. Duck con feit, clams, oysters on the half shell, escargot, New York steak, lamb, foir gras, eggs mayonnaise, and some delicious stuffed pasta (basically ravioli, but they called it something else) all made perfectly! The wines and cocktails were delicious as well as the cappuccino!!!

I had not eaten here since before the pandemic so was looking forward to returning. I was not disappointed. I had the escargot starter: wonderful. Julie had the clams and I had the duck confit. Both were very good. We finished that off with a pot de creme which was amazing. The service was very attentive. This is a pricey place but the food was worth it.

My husband and I went there for a special birthday dinner. Loved both the atmosphere (cozy and not pretentious), the service, and the food. Good choices for both seafood and meat dishes, all very well prepared and presented. Convenient location not noisy (like so many popular restaurants are these days).

Out of all of the wonderful restaurants visited in a week trip to Napa and San Francisco this remained my favorite. Beautiful location and view and building and outdoor seating. You really can’t go wrong with where you sit or what you order. The spring risotto though was the standout

We dined at Angele on 4/20. It was a rainy night. The covered patio protected us from the weather and was actually warmer than inside. The cocktails are very well made. Those served in the rocks were served with large square ice cubes. The food was very well prepared. The mushroom soup (soups change daily) was delicious and velvety. The sweetbread were excellent and the crispy fries were perfect. For dessert we ordered a Meyer lemon tart with meringue. Awesome! The meringue was creamy, the lemon appropriately sweet and tart. The crust seemed to shortbread and was ver crisp.. The wine list is extensive, but not many choices under $100 in certain varietals (like pinot noir).

My wife and I tried Angele for my birthday dinner in Napa. She absolutely loved the mushroom soup, and my escargot appetizer was very good. I'm not sure the parsley garlic sauce needs to drench the snails, but the puff pastry caps were a nice accent touch. For dinner I had the lamb while my wife had the sea bass. While she liked the sea bass texture, she felt it was a bit heavy with capers. My lamb was cooked perfectly but the vegetables weren't just al dente they were VERY al dente. Lemon tart was delicious for dessert. The one BIG negative was the highly recommended wine, Rive Droite Cote du Rhone. Being in the heart of Napa I would think they would know their wine, but I think the reason it was recommended was that it was a $11.60 bottle according to Vivino, yet they were charging $60 ish, just under 5X retail. To me that is gouging a bit too far. Overall, still gave Angele a very good rating but watch the wines and have your Vivino app ready PRIOR to ordering.

Can't say enough about this restaurant!!! We absolutely loved our experience at Angele! Our waiter Dan was sensational, and his recommendations were all AMAZING. The ambiance, the wine, and the food were all part of our amazing experience. The lamb, the pork chop, the bass, the escargo were all completely beyond!! It brings you right to the French country, a MUST VISIT IN NAPA!

My favorite French/California restaurant in Napa Downtown hands down. Delicious food, tasty drinks, Best location, great ambiance, top-notch service. We have been bringing business for several years and also have Dinned many times so as you can see I am overdue for this review. If you are visiting Napa Valley for wine tastings make sure to include it for lunch, if doing it for dinner I would recommend not combine with a day of wine tasting because you need to make a fun experience and dress up for it. It’s not super fancy but for sure I have celebrated birthdays and anniversaries here as well as Bussines meetings. You are just going to love it.
