Ristorante Allegria by far had to be my favorite restaurant while visiting Napa. The hostess greeted us with a smile as soon as we approached the podium. We were quickly seated at a nice comfortable indoor booth. I'll get straight to the food. It was exceptional. I highly recommend the rigatoni with sausage which is very flavorful and well portioned. For a treat be sure not to miss out on the bread pudding. You can thank me later.

We ate at the patio at high noon and it was comfortable and nice to be surrounded by foliage. My husband enjoyed his linguini ala vongole and was impressed by how much fresh clams were in there. I ordered Pappardelle allo Zafferano and it was delicious too, if somewhat too heavy (I brought home half of it). The bread pudding was well worth the visit.

It was disappointing due to the fact that there was a HUGE party (24+) seated behind us. Had we known that was going to happen we would not have gone to Allegria. Good for them, but not good for us. As a result our attention was drawn more to that table than to the food. Our server, Manny, was very good.
