One of my favorite cafes in the area! I go here about twice a week to unwind and do creative projects while enjoying a nice 24 oz cold brew. The vibes are top tier, the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, and the menu is great! I'm a huge fan of their cinnamon and honey rolls, coffee cake, and the Everything bagel sandwich.I recommend trying their pumpkin blondies during the fall season! And if you're a fan of the Honolulu Cookie Company's kona coffee-flavored cookies, try the Highland Shortbread!
The Liquid Leaf has the nicest staff. I've never had a problem with the staff or my order. The owner is friendly, engaging, and helpful. Today an employee made a low carb version of my favorite drink which was really delicious and appreciated. The almond milk, which was substituted, is homemade. I also really love the chicken, artichoke, spinach puff pastry.With lots of yummy drink choices, including teas, and a newly expanded menu of breakfast sandwiches, puff pastries, and a few muffin and bread choices there is something for everyone.Also, there is a good variety of loose leaf tea for purchase as well as beautiful cups, tumblers, tea pots etc.
Really really really good food and pastries. My only complaint is that the coffee is some of the weirdest tasting substances I’ve had on this planet- I’ve tried regular brewed coffees and lattes, I just don’t get it. It never tastes like a cup of coffee. I hate writing negative things in reviews I’m writing for a place I love— but I can’t get over how awful the coffee is.
They get my order wrong 7 out 10 times. I really wanted to like this place. But the last three times I've ordered through door dash, I either don't get my coffee, or my order is completely wrong. Today I ordered a large cold brew with soy and hazelnut. I got a 3/4 filled cold brew with no soy and no hazelnut(which costs extra) and a random other coffee (that I did not order) with regular cream and no hazelnut (cant drink it, I have issues with dairy). I am not sure if they ran out of cold brew and were trying to give me another coffee to make up for it or if I accidently got someone else's coffee. But unfortunately I am lactose intolerant, hence the soy. One specific reason I order from there is because they have hazelnut. A lot of other places don't carry it anymore. The cold brew was not good. I added a non dairy creamer and it tasted either burnt, old or like an americano with expired shots. The coffee I bought was 5.85, that is way too much for what I got. Unfortunately, I won't be supporting this business anymore. I want to support small businesses and I have been buying from them despite all of the inconsistencies for over a year. I definitely gave them multiple chances. I am literally forcing myself to drink this coffee, because I need the caffeine. I paid almost $6 to force myself to drink this, that is not good, and will not be doing this to myself again. I will be going to Ryan's Brothers next time. Just bummed because this place does have some really good gluten free muffins and breads. Hence the two stars. But my sole purpose is the coffee not the baked goods.
We came to LL with friends for an early cup of coffee. The barista was knowledgeable of the menu and recommended a few items for our friends. The prices were good, the ambiance was good, and the drinks are great. I would highly recommend for to-go coffee and drinking in. We had the Thai coffee which was delicious.
This is my favorite coffee and tea place I’ve ever been to. I have so much love for this place, they make THE BEST matcha ever. Definitely recommend to coffee lovers as well!

Today was my first time at this fine establishment! So happy with my experience, I order a 32oz cold pumpkin latte, a jalapeño cheddar double bacon egg and cheese bagel and a chocolate croissant! 10/10 the latte was delicious i could see as taste the seasoning making it extra yummy ?The bagel was the best breakfast I’ve ever had! The croissant is was so fresh and buttery delicious! I decided to eat outside and the ice in my latte melted faster than I would have liked to but the employees where more than happy to add more ice to my delicious drink ? the service and was my favorite i didn’t catch the name of my cashier but she was lovely with the best attitude, she was very patient with me, I truly hope these employees are treated well by their guest and employers. I love the Liquid Leaf and am a frequent customer!! They have a wide selection of drinks to choose from (from smoothies to boba to a simple coffee) and the staff are all wonderful and super friendly! ☺️I highly recommend trying their pumpkin blonde bars- my favorite pastry item of their’s this season!
Visited for the first time on Monday in a crunch, needing wifi for work! The cafe is a great work-from-home atmosphere. It was relatively quiet. The employees were very nice and knowledgeable. One of them recommended a peach tea that was refreshing! It comes unsweetened but they offered to add in sweetener afterwards if I needed some sweetness. They offer a wide variety of food items too. Ordering online is also available! I’ll be going back to this spot again soon!
