Amazingly delicious Pastrami, food served hot, short lines and fast service. We paid $55 for 3 adults so the price is acceptably higher to its competitors, and for good good reason! My reasons for 4 stars are because the drinks weren't mixed well and the place was sort of messy. There were also no napkins accessible so we had to ask for more.
We shared the pastrami dip, potato salad, and the onion rings - plenty of food for 2 people. Delicious, quick, satisfying meal. Really hit the spot after bowling and drinking at nearby Forest Lanes! A bit greasy but probably in a good way honestly cause I feel like that's what you're looking for in this type of food! Retro atmosphere - felt transformed back in time!
I’m not much of a fan of pastrami sandwiches but this place offers other type of sandwiches and burgers. I got the grilled cheese and they were delish. Hubby got the pastrami dip and he loved it! They also come in pretty large sizes so you’ll certainly get super full with one sandwich. I must say the pastrami chili onion ring is my favorite! The place is clean and has not plenty of staff so the wait is very minimal.
Best pastrami sandwich you're going to find in Southern California. Definitely get it dipped with the au jus, and a small fry will easily feed two to three adults. Always fantastic food recommend you come off hours otherwise you'll be waiting in line.
Great pastrami and roast beef. $37.For two sandwiches, french fries, and two midium drinks One order of fries is enough for two
If you love pastrami this place really piles it on. The sandwiches are excellent and a good value IMHO. If you order a large fry, you get a Lot of fries, hot and fresh! They put those other fast food places to shame. I also want to note this is maybe the cleanest restaurant I have ever seen. The workers look crisp and professional. The prep area is visible when you order and it looks immaculate yet clearly functional. Even the window sills shine. Very impressive.
Fantastic good, with gigantic portions. This is the second time I've been to the Hat, it does not disappoint.
The Food is DELICIOUS!!! However, very expensive on some items. I love their fully loaded chili cheese fries, with Hot Pastrami and diced tomatoes and sliced dill pickles. Truly a meal for a hungry party. The drinks are EXPENSIVE! My order: loaded chili cheese fries with all the toppings, a double cheese burger and a large drink. Total . . .$29.09!!!For this amount I could get a 16 oz steak with two sides from Steer N Stein. I guess this is why I only go to the Hat once in a blue moon.
The Pastrami sandwich is excellent. Alot of meat. Fast service too even though it was very busy
This is our first visit to THIS Hat in Murrieta, CA - added to the family of The Hat's franchise just 5yrs ago - and the folks here were very pleasant and the food was both delicious & true to the brand! We'll be visiting again for sure ?
