There is not a better place for fast fried chicken. I got the family bucket and I ate every piece (not all at once!) The breading is the most flavorful, crunchy, and tasty even after a day or two. Just reheat in the air fryer and it's back to drive up window quality. The store is easy to drive through but the entrance to the drive up window is kind of narrow and tight turns, not sure if a big vehicle can negotiate it.
The food is good, the service is horrible. They have all the specials on the window, then you go inside to see that lobby is closed due to low staff. I counted 6 workers, with a couple of them doing absolutely nothing. You have to use the 20 minute drive thru to get food. DON'T ADVERTISE A PRODUCT IS SOLD IF YOU CAN'T WALK IN AND BUY IT! The food is good, but it can't make up for the poor decision to not open completely.
I've always picked up my orders inside as they are pre-ordered and the drive thru is always busy. One of the employees was putting together my order when a larger sized white lady told me I had to get my order through the drive thru. I've been here multiple times and have never been told to go through the drive thru as my order will be sitting there for a long time getting cold as 9 other cars orders are ordered, made, and given to them. This was the worst experience ever, never going back to this location!
Love that chicken from Popeye's for sure but without fail they can't get our orders right. My wife is a fan of original while I like it spicy because ,well, it's spicy. If we order together the chicken will either be spicy or original making one of us happy. I will say that if I order a family chicken dinner they do give us both original and spicy, we just don't know which is which until we take a bite.
My wife and I live in the area and come here often. We’ve given them multiple chances to redeem their self’s but always mess it up. Hands down one of the worst Popeyes around. Popeyes in general now has a really made rep in my eyes. We tried out another location and they not good either. Don’t expect service within the hour if you choose this location.
One of the best Popeyes I've ever had! It was a little busy and it was only drive thru at the time I visited. It was well worth the wait. Employees were friendly and very accommodating. Thanks!
They purposely close drive thru @8pm even though they are open until 10pm. SMH. They’re good and all but they take forever to finish an order. And they always have an attitude. Like yes things make you upset or annoyed but don’t get mad at your customers
Every time I make a pick up order, whether it be 20 or even 40 minutes in advance, it’s never ready. When I get there is when they start prepping it. One time when I went inside and they just told me to go through the drive through because they were short staffed. I made the order an hour in advance that time. The manager is also usually very rude about it.
OK, I had a taste for some Popeye's biscuits... got to this location and they said they were "short on staff" and the only way to place an order was either in the drive-thru OR through a delivery service...They weren't apologetic, empathetic, or sympathetic when they said it... I understand being frustrated working in fast food AND having scheduling issues, but wowzer!To top it off, I gave them a second chance two days later...SAME EXACT THING!Popeye's lost me as a customer!
