Been going to the one on Mira Mesa for years probably since about 2003 or somewhere around there. Back then it used to be called wings and things but it's still pretty much the same quality as it is now under the new name Epic Wings. Trying to sweet and spicy Asian sauce this time around and it was pretty killer.

I can't say I have ever had a bad experience at an Epic Wings location so this review will be pretty standard, but the facility was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was cooked the way I expected. Can't go wrong stopping by here for any meal of the day.

The cinnabites were removed from the menu, please return them and the stars will increaseUpdate 4 years later: the cinabites were returned to the menu. 5 stars.

Sat at the restaurant for 30 min after making my order for the wings wich on a busy night is no problem but when they refused to serve my food because I did not want to give them my phone number I could not under stand why. I asked how long my food was ready before i came to ask and they did not have an answer. Its not very hard to just hand the food to the people that over pay for the wings in the first place. Hopefully they hire different competent people for their other locations.

Decided to order wings because that’s what we wanted to eat last night. When we bit into our wings it was like biting into salt. I called to complain as I would think the company would like to know and asked to speak to a manager. But there was no manager on duty and was asked if I could leave my name and phone number and get a call back. Never received a call back and when I called them back. They said that since in the past I called and “complained” because they either burned my bread, gave me mild when I asked for hot or barely had my wings cover in sauce. Yes I’m am going to call when I don’t get when I paid for and they want to say NOW I CAN TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!what type of business are they running. I don’t pay for burnt bread or for salt. Or for dry wings.

Went there for the first time. Accessible parking. Not very good inial impression.I felt like I was in a 3rd world country neigborhood place. No decoration, bar too bright, missing that pub or fancy bar look. The wings I ordered did not come well done, crispy as I requested, they refried because they were wet from the plastic container. The second time came crispy, but not well done.I did not even get celery with the wings.Bread sticks were just regular fresh hotdog bread with cheap garlic butter. Fries were served cold and not crispy. Not what I expected. Too expensive for what they offer. The wings had zero flavor. Cardenas has better well flavored wings. Even Hooters make it better.I should have gone to Cheesecake Factory where it is better and cheaper.Service was below standards. But the girls that work there did their job notifying the kitchen of my specific requests and were kind to ensure to fix the kitchen's mistake.I will never go to any Epic Wings, nor I recommend anyone that is looking to have tasty wings. Not sure why there is a sign stating "Voted best wings in San Diego", certainly Not the best.

What's Epic about this place is that they always manage to mess up something in every order. I've ordered take out multiple times over the last few months. Ask for blue cheese... got all ranch, ask for certain extra sauces... Got extra of every sauce but the one requested. I've had anything from main items missing to sauces being wrong. Tonight the request was extra bbq sauce for one meal... Instead we got a extra sauce on the buffalo chicken strip meal that had enough sauce for the chicken to float in.Save yourself the trouble and find a place that can correctly take an order.

This place used to be so good! My wife would always order just flats and now they say they don't let you pick just flats anymore. This place is just not the same anymore. Oh well, no reason to go here anymore with Raising Canes down the street.

The 4 piece chicken strips is the way to go! I like their hot sauce and get extra in the side so I can dip the delicious bread sticks into the sauce before a nice coating of blue cheese!

Nice people and good food.
