Denny's used to be the "to go" spot but After tonight experience- the one on Madison is not the best. I gave our waitress Savanna a few chances but failed. After an hour of waiting, I asked them how much longer, and waitress Selene stated in a few more minutes- yet our waitress is laughing in the back with the cook. Our food slowly but surely came after - cold and missing items. Selene- I would give you 5 stars but this review is for Savanna. Unfortunately, One bad apple ruin the tree. Thanks Denny's, but our waitress ruined our dinner and experience.
I had a wonderful meal for a good value price along with a nice sweet waitress just two weeks ago during a busy breakfast time. I was so happy to find myself and my husband ready to enjoy the experience again. Saying to myself "Denny's, who knew"?But that pleasant experience didn't repeat itself. It was about 2:30. So they only had one cook; poor guy. The potatoes were burnt. The peppers and onions were burnt. And even though there were plenty of waitresses our food sat under the lights for too long.My pancakes were dry but no one came by so I could ask for more butter. No one refilled our coffee. My husbands chicken fried chicken was more like fried chicken refried fried chicken. When we pointed out a mistake on the bill, nicely. It was corrected but not without our waitress getting crabby. I was so disapointed.
When in need of comfort on a late night, Denny's fills the void. My girlfriend and I were craving pancakes so this was a no brainer givin the time of day. Staff was attentive throughout our whole visit, though it helps that we were one of two groups in the restaurant ?. We tried the cookie dough pancakes since it's fun to try whatever new creations they've come up with since the last time we've been to a Denny's.
Came here and got burnt pancakes. And our steak was made weird ! It was very over cooked . The biscuit was also made very badly. When bread is frozen for too long or heated up for too the long the bread will start to become a certain way that’s hard and stail almost, you can tell that’s what happen to the biscuit. We had to pay for our awful meals. We did not eat 90% of our food. We did get to eat some very stail French fries and my eggs / bacon and hash down where good but we Left hungry and our time wasted .They were willing to make us something different but we had waited a while until we said it’s ok and left. They said we are understaffed -my response is not my problem, solution - take less people at a time and make people wait for a table .
It was a nice outing. Well for me anyway, not so much for my spouse. Our waitress was great! Super nice and very polite. She spoke with us and carried on a nice conversation. Unfortunately my spouse found a loose strand of hair on her plate which ruined her appetite, but our waitress made it right and discounted (free) her meal. We weren't expecting that but it was very appreciated.
Staff was very friendly and food was delicious! The apple crisp was wonderful!
We go to this location regularly and always in the early am at the end of our work shift. Food is fantastic and service amazing. Even with our waitress serving all by herself we never felt rushed or neglected!??
Service was good but a bit slower than usual? Not sure if they were understaffed but they did seem busier than normal for a Wednesday. Food tastes great. They just launched an updated menu yesterday and removed the Diner Double Cheeseburger. My brother-in-law wanted this so the server recommended ordering the basic double cheeseburger with modifications: no veggie set (lettuce, pickle, tomato, onion) and add caramelized onions and 1,000 island dressing. Bam!The server later told us that she was informed that they couldn't make this accomodation after today? I guess we'll go to another Denny's that will make this burger accomodation. We still tipped 20% because we're empathetic to the service industry during this pandemic.
Ate at this Denny’s a few nights ago. I get the Bourbon Sizzlin Chicken Skillet all across the country. Many are very good. Some, not so edible. But this cool was amazing!!! It had the right amount of Teriyaki. The chicken was well cooked. The Broccoli was perfect. The potatoes were the best I’ve had for this dish. Slightly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside almost like the perfect french fry.Good customer service. Quick service. Just an all around excellent experience. The cleanest bathrooms I’ve seen at a public restaurant too. It is a very impressively ran restaurant with good people working it.
We arrived Christmas Eve after11:30pm. One meal was a chicken sandwich with side. After her second bite, she saw a dark brown piece of hair. That's not the worst of it. The women manager after we informed her said it wasn't her cooks hair. We never said it was the cooks. We only said, there's a piece of hair in the plate. Just wanted to let her know.
