It's not like how it used to. I believe like everywhere else they are short staffed. But even so for 3 tables it took a while to get my check and also I had to look for the waitress. The food was good. Idk about the chips. They didn't taste fresh made. More like store bought. Google isn't telling me which casa Jimenez I went to. But this one was on Jefferson. The one that I'm impressed was the one on California oaks. Once I find out which one this review belongs to I'll fix it.
Not Mexican Food. And not good food. Friday 12 noon. About 3 tables with people. Should have read that sign. Middle Eastern greasy spoon. My fish taco had some kind of vinegar laced thousand island sauce. My friends tostado was lying on a bed of middle eastern rice. Shredded beef - dry, cold and not tasty. Beans like you have never tasted. We were starving so we ate some. Friend got sick on way home.
Our waitress, Zea, was amaaaazing. She was so attentive and went above and beyond to help us out. Food and drinks were good, but we'll probably be coming back here simply due to the fact that the waitress went the extra mile at every opportunity that arose and she made our experience eating here so much better than we could've expected.
Super friendly staff. Food was good buuut my rolled tacos looked like tooth picks. GIANT BEERS. Place could use a little face lift.
Great Taco tuesday.. Special Carnitas tacos are delicious. The shredded beef also a delicious choice. Service always friendly
Same AUTHENTIC MEXICAN food I remember from when I was a kid,half a century ago! Great food,price and service. The restaurant also has a full service bar and a few large screen TV's. Chile Verde was cooked like tio Pepe & Guillermo use to make! Remember,all your meals come with chips and salsa!
We go to both Casa Jimenez locations, on Jefferson and California Oaks, and we love both. Service is always excellent, the margaritas are very good, and the food is always great!!This is where you go for Mexican.

Great confiable place to eat good quality Mexican food. Service was good s as well.
We ordered margaritas and it was watered down. Agua chile was bland and taste fishy and dirty. The shrimp tacos were bland as well. We tried adding pepper and salsa to improve the taste but failed. Kids nuggets and the chips and salsa were good. That's why we gave it a 1 star.Last but not least. The men's restroom smells like caca. They have a septic problem so don't sit by the bar or the tables close the restrooms.
