Great freshly made food with friendly service from this local mom and pop place. Food is not fast food, so it takes a few minutes to make. Place is busy for lunch, and everyone who has eaten here before knows why.
Slightly underwhelming when considering their prices.I understand that with the recent price hikes, that mom and pop shops where going to raise prices even more, but for the prices here other sandwiches and torta spots have better satisfied me.I ordered a “La Cuban” and a “pineapple express” smoothie and was left a bit underwhelmed. The sandwich had a decent taste to it but the bread was lacking a good taste to it, and smoothie tasted a tad bit too bland.I understand this is more of a sandwich shop, but Tortas Sinaloa definitely runs laps around Banana Boy’s torta-like sandwiches and aguas frescas. Dedicated smoothie shops also have better tasting smoothies. But overall Banana Boy has both solid options for sandwiches, and smoothies but at their prices it leaves something more to be desired.
Great place for a smoothie or a sandwich. I just had a regular turkey sandwich and it was so fresh and delicious. The bread was light and fluffy which is great because I'm normally not a bread eater. It can get busy so plan accordingly!
First time eater here at bananaboy and let me tell you for a modest hole in the wall, this place is damn good. Ordered the half of the pollo asado and the chango mango smoothie and man is it good. The bread on my sandwich was lightly crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside and the dressing they put on the pollo asado just hit! The smoothie was not overly sweet. It’s a banana mango blend and you really taste it. Super good, simple little snack spot. Definitely coming back!
This family owned business is a gem. Friendly and polite on all levels. The food hits the right spot....
One of my favorite lunch places. If you have never tried this place, you owe it to yourself to try it out. My wife and I try to go here at least once a week for lunch. Great family run business.
I tried the Chunky Monkey shake and La Hawaiianna fruit salad bowl. The shake was a delicious combination of chocolate and banana. The bowl had a variety of island flavors and textures that were perfectly balanced between sweet and bitter, smooth and crunchy. The only problem I had was the service, as the two girls that helped me seemed like they hated their job.
so amazing. Love everything I order from that place especially their mango madness!
The best sandwiches, service and Auga Fresca around!$7.99 for a half sandwich and side is a steal in 2021! Thank you guys.
Decided to try eating here for the first time today. Food and price was good, but the customer service from the young girl working the register was so poor I won't be coming back. I work customer service myself, I get it, it sucks, but that's no reason to be blatantly rude for no reason.
