Tiny shop can only hold one customer at a time. Order from outside screen and they give you an estimated time to pick up, but it's usually faster. $6-$6.50 for brown sugar milk tea. Their boba balls are a little sweeter, softer, and smaller compared to other's.
I got the brown sugar pearl matcha latte at 25% sweet and it was perfect. The matcha latte by itself would have been not sweet enough for me but the boba was perfect sweetness and chewiness in combination with the drink~Also ordering is very easy on the devices~
My girlfriend said the brown sugar boba tea that I got at Yi Fang yesterday was a 1 or 2 out of 5, so I’m going with a 1 (rounding down in this case given all the boba spots on Castro). She mentioned in defense of Yi Fang that it is more commonly known for its fruit teas. I didn’t see a regular ole black milk tea, so I went with the next best option. I recall when the downtown MV location was under construction that some of the workers used some unsavory/insensitive language that I heard in passing, which already gave me a bad taste
Very few places have the authentic flavor of home, but this is one of them. The hot fruit tea was exactly as I remembered those in Taiwan to be, and Quality is one of the best amongst the many PMT shops around.A classic go-to recommendation is the Brown Sugar Pearl Tea(Latte if you don't want the caffeine). I've been back many, many, Times and every Time is just as wonderful as the first. Worth every cent.p.s. I'm here often enough that I use Snackpass to order. LMK if you're also a regular looking to exchange.Pandemic Note:They take COVID seriously and have folks using contactless methods to order (i.e. tablets) and employees taking care of finished orders to prevent excessive customer contact, which is a huge plus in my book.
The tea is good, but the primary reason for writing this review is my cup broke after I left the store and they kindly replaced it. They could have easily said it was not their fault and I should buy a new one..
my favorite place to get fruit teas. white plum drink is my favorite if you like tartness. classic mountain fruit tea also great. the fact that there’s real fruit pieces you can eat after you finish your drink is so fun!
Cute little bubble tea place on Castro street. Got the brown sugar pearl cocoa bubble tea latte - came with a lot of boba and hot chocolate at the bottom. Recommend mixing it vigorously to get the best flavor. The hot chocolate tasted like it was sweetened with honey although I’m not sure.There were two tablets through which one needs to order and pay. They ask for your number and send you a text when your order is ready. No chatting with the cashier which is a drawback in my opinion.
We got both the Coffee drinks which were tasty and satisfying. Worth the price. This has become our favorite Boba tea place.
I ordered through the app today as usual - the order wasn't properly communicated but the staff was incredibly patient, graciously working things out. Thanks to whoever took the time to help today.I've been there previously too without issue and the Sugarcane drinks are always amazing. The Mango drinks are great with spicy food.
Nice selection and customization, but avoid the taro milk tea. It's a simple sweet drink with a mushy texture on the bottom.
