Great margaritas, excellent food, friendly staff, good outdoor space with trees and some shelter from sun and sprinkles. It's casual but still good.It's my favorite restaurant among those of the Sol empire.

This Mexican restaurant has their own parking lot, so there is no issues with parking. My hubby and I decided to enjoy this restaurant recently, based on their Google reviews and while we was visiting the local area.The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and mouthwatering starters and main courses that will appeal to everyone. Everything came out very fast and hot and was well seasoned. Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. The chefs use the best quality ingredients to produce dishes that are simply delightful.I’m giving this restaurant a 4 rating mainly because of their customer service was slow, and the food itself was just typical Mexican food that was overpriced. I’m pretty confident that we wouldn't return for another visit and tried them again.
When we dined at the outside patios once during covid everything tasted delicious as usual and all staff wore masks. The food is still tasty, but the quantity has decreased, which is understandable but keep that in mind. I don't mind filling up on their chips and salsa though, so good. Their food is not appealing when have it to go and the quality really degrades.

A local favorite, Vive Sol delivers a very unique experience in the dishes they serve. The food is very different from the more commonly identified Mexican restaurants in and around the bay area. Step in for lunch or dinner and you won't be disappointed.
Ambiance is amazing, portion sizes are generous and margaritas are delicious! Parking is sometimes a hassle so best to come early. Service can be hit or miss based on the server you get.
We went back here after 10 years! Our kids are now old enough to enjoy Mexican cuisine and they wanted to go. We sat outdoors and it was like sitting in a tropical place. It was so lovely! And the food and service was amazing! Definitely a place we are going to add to our regular rotation.
The courtyard dining experience was wonderful...good ambience, great food...they should take reservations because they're really busy!
