Food is ok. Nothing tastes bad, but nothing amazing. The chow fun and chow mien were a little bit bland. Sweet and sour cauliflower was not crispy but we got takeout.

Veggie Garden quickly became a weekend staple because it is exactly what I crave when I need some Americanized Chinese food. They have the most incredible VG ribs that are spot on in both flavor and texture to its animal-based counterpart, so that's a great dish for transitioning vegans who are struggling. They also serve a great complimentary salad in a sweet vinegar dressing. I have been to veggie garden at least 15 times, and I have only seen perfectly fresh lettuce and other ingredients for this, so I'm very impressed.I can't get enough of the orange peel chicken. It's so delicious with tiny bits of the peel in the sauce! The tofu pieces turn out like perfectly fried pillows of tofu, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Since I've ordered this more than 15 times, the tofu has been fried a little too long once or twice, losing a bit of that inner softness, but it's still a great dish even when that happens.I also love the sweet and sour VG pork, but the tofu for this dish is cut smaller so you don't get that awesome inner softness like with the orange peel chicken. The tofu for the general's chicken entree is also cut similar to the sweet and sour pork FYI.All the entrees I've ordered are served with healthy steamed broccoli or other veggies. You order rice separately.I can't finish a whole entree + side of rice so I always take some home for a second meal, making this an incredibly affordable spot--basically $14 for two meals! The staff is also so sweet and helpful if you want to ask about what specifically goes into each dish.

horrible place and horrible food.. literally every item was dipped in sugar syrup?? other reviewers were raving about gobi manchurian. it was overcooked gobi dipped in sugar syrup.. veggie fried rice has only basil and broccoli .. all the items were tasteless and extremely sweet. the worst part was the dine-in service. understand that covid hit hard on these small restaurants.. so either make it completely take-out or acknowledge that there are customers sitting in your restaurant. serving food in plastic containers and to-go boxes is totally unacceptable. spoiled our holiday weekend.

Awesome vegan go to place. We tasted black pepper chicken, thai iced tea: taste is so good worth a try.Vg General chicken : it tasted so like a chicken. Its little sweet bcoz of the sauceGarlic Fish fillet: This tastes so different. I had never tried before. This is also little sweet bcoz of sauce they addThe price is also good for every dish. Not much expensive.Overall a very good experience. The staff there was really good with his service. There’s enough parking space out there. Only suggestion I would give them is if they could actually serve proper plate and spoons rather than plastic plates amd spoons. It becomes a bit difficult sometimes to cut some pieces with those plastic spoons. If you are having a take out then just great..

Best vegan restaurant ever! The vegan drumsticks are delicious and have excellent texture. Their chicken chow mein is my favorite. Dining inside is an option but they can't use all their tables yet because of covid restrictions. They do their best to follow social distancing standards by letting people sit far apart in corners of the restaurant. Really sweet staff and very accommodating! They're also really good about refilling water when you dine in! It's got a citrus-y taste. ❤️

The restaurant doesn't look like much on the outside but the food is delicious, the portions are generous and the variety of options is astounding at a very fair price.

I love this place! SO happy they have survived the pandemic!!! Terrific, very tasty Chinese vegan food. The ingredients seem very fresh. See my post in Mountain View Takeout/Delivery Options & Open Businesses amid COVID-19 -

Great vegan comfort food!Food: I really appreciate the very extensive menu. In particular, I recommend both the mock duck and the orange chicken.Drink: I had the Thai iced tea, which was a bit too sweet, but was still pretty good!Definitely worth a visit!
