Loved our dining experience here. We were not rushed, we were attended to without it being too much. Cocktails were delicious as the food. We did share the feedback that the duck mousse was not a hit. We each had one taste and no one else wanted any more. It was too "gamey" and we did not find it appetizing at all.
Great food, and attentive service. Deserves to be busier.
The service is good. The food is bad. It doesnât deserve this price.
Not great flavor, very smaill quantity for the price Good dessert
Came here for a light dinner before a concert at Shoreline. We had the burger and butter leaf lettuce salad, and both were terrific! The burger ($22) was juicy and full of flavor - no need for ketchup as it would have masked the natural flavors of the beef. Came with slices of fresh heirloom tomatoes and crisp lettuce, in a bun that didnât turn soggy till the last bite. I agree with the Yelp reviewer who said heâd rather have had fries than the mashed potatoes that came with the burger. Our salad ($17) was nice and unique in flavor, but nothing Iâd crave coming back for. James, our server, was great! He was friendly and knowledgeable. He made recommendations, but didnât try to âupsellâ us to order more dishes or more expensive drinks. Itâs hard to find good servers these days and he was well worth the 20% gratuity included in the bill. Prices were on the high side but we didnât mind because of the service. Setting is nice, but the casual vibe didnât match the high prices. If I want a 3-course meal for $120, I have other options Iâd choose over Broma. I would come back here for drinks and appetizers or a casual meal, knowing Iâd be paying more but getting good service.
Delicious food, amazing service, great ambience. I am vegan and made sure to let the staff know in advance, they were very attentive and made sure to provide vegan options for me for every course.
A birthday night out. A very eclectic menu exquisitely prepared. We started with the duck pate and butter lettuce salad. Both were excellent especially the plum jam with the pate. The duck entree was probably the best duck breast we have ever experienced. The pork cheeks and clams were perfectly seasoned (just the correct amount of red pepper paste) but make sure to include the broth with almost every bite (especially the potatoes). We usually get something chocolate for dessert but instead chose the pistachio tart. That was the least successful dish of the evening. Not enough pistachio flavor. When we commented to the server, he mentioned that they only use pistachio powder on the top of the dish. Real nuts would have been better in our opinion. The service was attentive but not in your face.
Food was of the highest level -- creative and delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was warm and pleasant and made for a perfect birthday dinner. If you have the opportunity to dine here, don't pass it up.
Food was lackluster, either flavorless or incorporating an incompatible mix of flavors, depending on the dish. Seating is next to the hotel pool, so the ambiance consists of listening to children splash and play. The so-called prix fixe menu is a scamâthey simply ask you to pick any appetizer, entree, and dessert from the a la carte menu and charge a price of $76, but the prix fixe is more expensive than most menu combinations. In my case, the prix fixe was quite a bit more expensive, so I elected to order a la carte (duh), but our waiter charged me the prix fixe price anyway and proceeded to argue with me about it when we received the bill, saying I had been required to go prix fixe since this is what my wife had done (which he hadnât explained when we ordered). In the end, prix fixe pricing didnât make sense for my wife either; it took some complaining on our part, but in end he switched us to a la carte pricing, taking our total charge down by $36, well over the price of their typical entree. Altogether, bad food, bad ambiance, an absolutely goofy approach to prix fixe, and rude staff. Do not recommend.
A unique and truly fine dining experience! We enjoyed the prix fixe option, and all courses were outstanding as were the delightful extras. Fresh, perfectly prepared, and delicious. We appreciated the ambiance of the outdoor courtyard, and the service was top-notch as well.
