Salsa is nice and spicy. The tortilla is way too thick/hard for my liking though. A lot of people says that the food is inconsistent so maybe it's typically better. Might return for another try.
Simply the best tacos -great service from the lovely cashier and the tacos are a must try.asada ,cabeza and al pastor
As others have mentioned, one day you get the best flavors you’ve ever had, the next day it’s super dry and flavorless… regardless if you get a taco/burrito/quesadilla
Honestly the best street tacos around. Why even say around, best I've ever had. I always think I'm getting bored of them but I have it once more and it seems as they just keep getting better. Surprisingly the best is the vegetarian tacos because they have the most things on the taco, avocado beans rice etc. Would recommend to anyone who likes food
I’ve been here twice, and two entirely different experiences. One day it’s the best tacos I’ve ever had - hot, fresh, amazing flavor. Then the next day the chicken is dry, low quantity, flavorless, dried/hard tortilla, and kinda cold meat. They are also a bit slow, which is fine when the tacos are good, but not when the tacos are mediocre. This place is inconsistent, so won’t be returning for a while.
This taco truck is a hit and miss. They can make the most delicious Mexican food one day and the next visit it's atrocious. The biggest problem is they sometimes use cheap steak cuts with heavy chunks of fat. My most recent Carne Asada burrito had 3 large chunks the size of a dime. Changed the texture completely.
Good tacos they have a variety of meat selection. If you come here for carne asada keep driving you have to taste buche, cabeza, lengua, tripas.
Great food truck. The hype is real about this truck and it's food. The best chorizo burrito I have had hands down. It was large and I could have made two meals of it but so good I couldn't help but finish it.
I don't get the hype, I can only imagine they used to be way better. And for the record, I do think you can get pretty good tacos outside of San Jose.Had the carnitas and pastor tacos. Carnitas was very disappointing - neither crispy nor juicy, just shredded/diced roast pork. The pastor was nicely crispy, but still bland. The spicy guac was the highlight.
Tasty, but I've had better tacos in the San Jose area
