We really like this place a lot. My girlfriend, who is Mexican, and I have eaten here a few times and it has beem great every time. She likes their pupusas and i have had a azada burrito and the enchilada plate. Plus we shared a quesadillas. We also love the agua fresca. We have had the jamaica a few times and it is quite tasty. The food and drink are excellent and the staff are very friendly. Lots of spanish speaking people are in the restaurant always...which of course is another good sign. They get pretty busy, but your patience will be rewarded with great comida! We highly recommend this fine establishment!
Best food in the area, recommendations...Tacos de Tripa
I liked ate when it’s hot so delicious ? and fresh ?
I loved their food. I have been here about four times. However, the last time I went there was August 30th. As I ordered and waited for my food, something happened to turn me off. I seen a hispanic gentleman walk in and go back behind the counter. He wore the restaurant's shirt, jeans and latex gloves. He clocked in and proceeded to grab a broom to go sweep. One of the female employees said something to him. He stopped sweeping and went back behind the food counter. I watched him like a hawk ?. He started replenishing the flour tortillas and some of the condiments. He finished there and went into a back storage room. He touched others things before he replenished the foam to-go plates. He never changed his gloves. Wearing gloves (are not just to protect the person wearing them). Most importantly, (they protect the person consuming the food from the things that you touch)! Cross contaminating food, dishes, glasses, utensils, tables, etc isn't safe! Additionally, the female cooks were not keeping the cooking area sanitary thumbs down! The extra condiments (slaw in a bucket) were not covered to prevent flies or customers breathing over it. We live in a time that every step to keep from getting food poisoning or Covid 19 ? is imperative!!! Unfortunately, I will NOT be going back unless these things are improved!!!!!
Good food that should please traditional tastes and people looking to expand beyond tacos. Pupusas very good. Service quite slow today due to local popularity.
This restaurant is tucked away in the corner of an old shopping plaza but don’t let that fool you!Friendly and welcoming service. They have traditional El Salvadoran food along with typical Mexican dishes. We ordered the regular and special pupusas and they were freshly made and very good. We also ordered the carne dinner place and it was good! We will be back.
Love the tacos and plantanos
Very yummy pupusas :) horchata was great too. Thank you!
Green sauce is tasty on the feet burritos. Rarely do I find tripas on the menu, and their tripas is very good.
