I was really pleasantly surprised by this place!Came in not expecting too much, but the mochi waffle combo 1 was so damn delicious I'm definitely going to be getting it again.The waffle itself is nice and crispy on the outside but with the satisfying mochi chewiness after you bite in, and I really dig the brown sugar boba syrup. and then when you add the salty and sweet cream cheese on top, oh man what a combo.Good pricing at 7.50ish altogether too. This place is really close to where I live and I feel like it might be dangerous to my waistline...
Went here with my little brother. He ordered the mangonada because he wanted to try something new and loved mangos.The result was disappointing and tasted strongly of tomato sauce, but thats not what prompted me to leave the 2 stars. I suggested to my little brother that he could ask to have his drink changed if he really didn't like it, he had only taken a couple sips. The employee at the counter was really nice and apologetic but went to the back to call over the owner. The owner came out and immediately began lecturing my brother about how difficult it is to make the drinks and how they can only change a drink if there's something "actually" wrong with it, but if you just don't like the drink you can't change it. She mentioned that the drink description says everything about how the drink tastes so there should be no surprises. This lecture went on for close to 3 minutes with my brother saying nothing, then at the end she says "Just this once I can make another drink for you."This absolutely floored me, I've worked at and helped manage multiple foodservice businesses and this is completely unheard of. the rude lecture was completely uncalled for, if you can't or don't want to remake the drink, then say so right away, don't waste our time and your time trying to guilt the customer.The owner really needs to work on her attitude and her priorities.My drink, the coco taro, was pretty good though.
A bit of a gimmick, though I will be coming back to try all of their flavours. The cream cheese dip that comes on the side is really darn good. The mochi waffle itself is just chewy on the inside with nothing else special.
Mochi Waffle sounds like a nice novelty food to try, but in actuality ended up being a pretty chewy experience. I mean it's not bad, but I probably would stick to regular waffles. Still, they offer unique Asian inspired flavors such as red bean mochi, or pandan mochi, which I think is worth a try. The minus on the stars is for the drinks. I got the strawberry matcha milk tea and it tasted...kinda bland, not gonna lie. It just tasted like milk. I normally get this drink at other tea places and love it. But not here. So I say come for the wafflez, but get the milk tea elsewhere.
I saw Earl Grey Milk Tea and had to grab it. It tastes so good ? my taste buds are so happyI'm having to pace myself lmaoMy bf got the Cookies and Cream drink and it's straight up a liquid cookie in a cupI ordered a Chai Tea Milk Tea for tomorrow morning so I can't weigh in on that one but this is for sure my new favorite tea place!
The mochi was delicious! Ate it all before realizing I didn’t get to take photos of them! Crispy and chewy, it was yummy!
I come here mostly for the mocha waffles but their drinks are really good and refreshing as well! My brother introduced this spot to me originally when it was The T Zone and we have still come back since.The pandan waffle with condensed milk is my favorite. It’s very soft and chewy on the inside with a slight crunch when you have it fresh. The pandan flavor is obvious but not overwhelming and tastes light, especially since some mochi foods can get dense and filling. It’s not often this flavor choice is on a menu so I love that there is the option here!Had the brown sugar hojicha today and it was delicious but a skewer a bit sweet even though I ordered 50% sugar. Also had the tarp coconut slush which was quite refreshing. Looking forward to trying other items on their menu as well!
Small place so dont plan on sitting down. But the waffles are awesome super chewy, and the boba is on point ✨
Their drinks are amazing here and the waffles are the best part. I strongly recommend trying this place out when you get a chance.
We had the boba waffle and thai iced drink and both were really good! Ordering and paying booths are very simple to use and order was delivered within 5 mins. Would definitely visit again!
