Service is good and food is above average. I like the black cod saikyo yaki most. May come back for the bento.

I visited with a friend. I had the hot pot with shrimp, scallop, chicken, tofu, and cabbage. The large pot came piping hot and the food was wonderful. A light fish broth and everything tasted fresh. My friend had a rice bowl with steak, along with miso soup and salad. The salad was tiny bit good and the miso soup was excellent. The beef was done perfectly and really good. Prices were reasonable. Meals ranged from a low of $12 on up to $20+. My hot pot was $15 and the steak rice bowl was $20. Sushi seemed to be a popular choice while I was here but I did not try it Would definitely recommend!

This place is served and run by authentic Japanese people. You feel like you are in Japan and not in Silicon Valley when you step inside. If you want to get away from everything and get good tasting food and sake, this is the place to be.

A comfort Japanese restaurant located at mountain view downtown.Things I like:Uni sushi, it's quite a lot of uni, and the uni is fresh and tastyScallops sashimi, very sweetTako wasabiGrilled beef tongue was over cookedThe rest are average or slightly better than average.

I've been here twice with my dad's family, once in October 2021 and another time May 2022. My dad's family always get the combo and I get their salmon skin because they are in their advanced age and they don't want to eat as much fat. I only remember some of the sashimi and rice they have. I find the flavor to be good. The rice is prepared nicely, it's fluffy. I ordered the chazuke because I don't see this at other restaurants and it's nice and comforting. I wouldn't go here myself because of the price and I also don't live in this city.To summarize,Good service. They always check up on us because we're also a big group.Flavor is good but from the things I've eaten, I wouldn't choose this restaurant myself because of the price.

Sushi is a bit disappointing. Other dishes are good. Like the agedashi tofu. Service is polite and attentive.

Fresh sashimi and food. Business is very good at night.

Very good service and the food came quickly.

Very good Japanese restaurant!Fresh sushi materials and the fried tempura is my family’s favorite. It’s a little pricy but the service and vibe is impeccable.

Amazing food in a relaxed atmosphere. The value is phenomenal and you'll find dishes here that are uncommon at other Japanese restaurants in the US. I recommend Kakuni, Agedashi Tofu, Chicken Porridge, and the Sweet Potato Shochu.
