We walked here from Hotel Avante just a few buildings away. Huge menu and brisk business in take out orders. Seemed popular with locals. We got Himalayan lamb special - very good! I also got an eggplant that was a bit too spicy for me, but was unique compared to other Indian I've eaten. We also had Nepalese dumplings. Good prices and service. Definitely try this place!

If you like north Indian flavors, don't go for biryani.Ordered Vijayawada boneless chicken biryani. The egg in Biryani was dead cold, biryani was moderately warm not steaming hot - probably it wasn't freshly made. Raita with Biryani was the worst raita I ever had - didn't taste distantly related to Indian curd or even Greek yogurt! Flavors in Biryani were very weird, I have had this flavor when people put readymade masala from grocer shops instead of actual spices and flavors. Didn't like it a bit, left my order unfinished.Since they couldn't even get the temperature of biryani and the raita even right to basic levels - 2 stars.

This restaurant food is good especially chicken i always recommend this restaurant. There is a popular dishes chicken biryani, chicken curries and so on.

Himalayan kitchen is my favourite South Indian food pit stop. Have been enjoying their food with no complaints. The quantity of the food items is more than most of the similar restaurants. I specifically like the Andhra Chicken Fry, Vijayawada boneless chicken Biryani and mutton dum biryani.

Food was not fresh and tasted bland. The chicken momos tasted of nothing but flour and were undercooked, the veg chowmein was actually made using spaghetti instead and the chilli chicken wasn’t great either. Would not recommend this place for Nepalese food.

Its been a goto place with us for spicy Indian food, almost 6 years running. Like all food, gets monotonous with repetition for takeout. Yet rice, curry and non crispy apps always taste dependably good, takeout or otherwise.Pre-pandemic the place was much small and crammed considering its popularity. Their buffet was the only place that offered tasty food you would want to go back for seconds once the novelty wore off. Haven't visited since 2020, takeouts have been good.

The food here is really good. I have been a patron for the past 4 years. Miss the buffet they had pre-covid times. The biryanis are really good and tasty. Vijayawada biryani is usually pretty spicy, so if you’re someone who doesn’t like too much spice, Hyderabadi biryani is more suited for you.Their appetizers are also really good. Particularly, the apollo fish.Even vegetarian options are good.

Great paneer and onion kulcha - two large pieces of naan style bread stuffed with onions, paneer and spices. Also recommend the malai kofta - tangy red sauce with balls made of grated, spiced vegetables. Not sure if the place is halal so stuck to vegetarian food.

Good Averill dining experience. My order took forever to make but the owner was nice and offered me free drinks while I waited and really did his best to make sure I am happy. Overall I loved it and will be back.

Service was slow, but that's just a note to buyer - no stars removed for that. The chicken momo had dry portions, so it's not freshly cooked. It came with a sauce that was rather bland. The veggie rice, had excessive pepper, far more that typical. The pepper chicken was decently juicy, so that was okay. The naan, a bit too chewy for my tastes. Would not recommend. There is spectacular naan at Zareens, and fresh momo at Everest Momo.
