This is one of my favorite restaurants to hit when I visit Mountain View. The Enchiladas Encojocado are so good, the house enchilada sauce is delicious kind of like a Masala sauce which you wouldn't expect to be so good on a Mexican dish.Their red enchilada sauce is also super good. The salsa they give as an appetizer is spicy but good as well and the house made chips add a lot.
Had the Asada burrito with their famous encarnado sauce their grandmas famous sauce. so good. and the margaritas so many to choose from but they are good
The shrimp cocktail is great! Everything is wonderful and the service is great too.
The food was meh. The salsas were ok. The chips tasted like restaurant supply as did the black beans. The rice was soft, but not in a good way. The corn tortills were fine. Essentially it all seemed like it came off of a CISCO truck. I won't return, so I can't recommend anyone eat there.

I went for the nachos (with no meat). I liked the fried beans on top, nicely baked nachos, cream, cheese, guac, and everything else. It was neatly done, and on top, delectable. The staff was very friendly as well.

I had the Chili Verde plate with Spanish rice and refried beans. Rice was okay, beans were great but the pork was overcooked and a bit tough. The Verde sauce was good..
We were long time visitors of Fiesta del mar and it feels like the prices have gone up, but food quality (taste) has gone down. Chicken is dry and tasteless. Everything else seems bland and quickly put together. For $20 in an area that has a lot of Mexican restaurants, it seems that they do not even try. Location is great, but as we had gone specifically to eat at our old favorite Mexican restaurant, it was a huge disappointment. However, service is great and friendly.
