Came here for lunch. There were 2 other people seated and a large group that came after us. We ordered 6 entrees that took 45 minutes to come out. 1 was wrong and 2 were changed to a different dish without telling us that we couldn't eat due to allergies. They never checked in to say they were out of what we ordered and just decided changing it was okay. The waiter was rude about it telling us we were wrong. 10 min later substitute dishes came out. It was pretty good but not worth it when there are so many other places. They comped one item but I'm not sure if that was as an apology or they just forgot what we ordered.
We went as a family of 16 for a birthday dinner for my mom. Reservation was honored, space was ready and food was delivered family style as requested. The owner was very sweet and courteous. Her staff not so much. We had to request things multiple times before getting them and we had two different servers during the dinner and orders got lost between them. The portions were large. We had ordered eggplant dish and received the squash - again, lost in translation by the servers. We ordered yogurt dip and was given yogurt drink instead.
Me and my mother on mother's day walked up as soonas the host went back in to the restaurant and waited tobe seated as their sign instructed. We waited a fewminutes and as soon as another family of anotherethnicity appeared, the waitress came right out andseated them. The lady of the group made eye contact with me and I saw her speak to the host and point our way in what I assume was her informing the host that we were waiting first. The host came to seat us without an apology then my mom asked if there was any outdoor seating and the host just said "yes" without asking us if we would like a seat outside or directing us so we walked out and seated ourselves. She came back out shortly after to ask if we were ready to order and I told her we changed our minds. She just looked at us and said nothing and we left. It was just a bad first impression and we did feel like the hostwas being prejudice.
Very beautiful place. Authentic flavors in decorating the restaurant. The food was fantastic. The hot black tea with dried roses was so flavorful and refreshing. I ordered the Lima Beans rice, Baghali Polo as Persians put it, with lamb's neck, one of the softest and most delicious type of meat you can ever cook with. This is how I would cook it, if not better... ??Friendly feedback; the Shirazi Salad is a bit overpriced at $ 9.95.
The food was delicious, but the customer service secures it 5 stars. We (unknowingly) came in near closing, and they still happily took our orders and served us. Even though the place had technically been closed for 40 minutes by the time we left, we were never rushed. When we realized what had happened, we felt bad and apologized, but the staff were very friendly about it.
This place has gone down in taste. We ordered a gyro wrap and falafel salad. The fries that came with the wrap were soggy and soft. The falafels were bland and fried beyond repair. The food was absolutely mediocre. Minus one star for the slow service, it took them over 25mins to bring our food.Edited: downgraded to two stars. Our stomachs were upset after eating here :(
Never had a worse experience dining out, there was no greetings and finally when they sat us the table was dirty. Service if you can call it was bad from begging to end, kabobs were burned although we asked please be careful and we had to ask for everything little thing like lime or onion.Servers were mostly ignorant of making customers happy and there was not even a thank you upon leaving.Will never go back
Came here on a Sunday afternoon and really enjoyed it! Really good prices for the amount of food they give. Probably some of the best gyro wraps I've had!Good:Really fast service - and a good outdoor dining patio - I loved the chicken gyro wrap that I ordered - it was just super unique and the crispiness was just right as well. I loved that it also came with fries- they were extremely tasty fries.The falafel appetizer was also really tasty and was a big portion size. The sauces that came with the dish were also extremely yummy, especially the garlic yogurt!Bad:The sun gets pretty intense in the outdoor seating so make sure to bring a hat!Otherwise, I really enjoyed my experience at Caspian and would come again!
Wowwww. What can I not say about the Fantastic taste of food in this place ??The food quality is beyond expectations.But...It’s not the food that is super delicious and tasty, it’s the quality customer service that is over the top. I am telling you ...One lady waitress .... “Goli”First of all even if you go there once she will not forget you !!Second she is so hospitable,makes you feel you are getting all the respect and attention with so much kindness it’s almost unreal.Goli Jan you rock.I just want to say thank you to the owner of this place for having someone like Goli on your team she is a complete concierge.Thank you Caspian restaurant owner.
Everything we ordered (Eggplant Dip, Lamb Shank, Combo Chicken and Beef) was absolutely amazing; perfectly grilled and flavorful. Although each entree is pricy, three of us were well fed with lots of leftovers.
