This is one of my most visited Mexican restaurants in mountain view. They have a huge menu, with all the usuals plus some specials. The portion sizes are huge! Plus you get chips and dips on the table. Decent drinks choice, with a list of margaritas. There's plenty of seating inside, sports screens and a few outside tables. Good service from a bunch of friendly guys all rushing around but never too busy to offer you a tequila shot ;)
Overpriced. Limited options for vegetarians, none for vegans. The chicken enchiladas were 50% cheese (which is too much for my taste). The margaritas were small and mostly ice.Overall, the food is 1 star. Added a star for the nice open area in the back.
Well I won't be eating here again! Because I'm moving. And that makes me so sad. These guys are great!We have brought many people here and it is universally loved. Even a native to AZ was amazed. High praise indeed.I get the Camarones Ardiente everytime. Big shrimp in a creamy spinach sauce. I don't like rice and beans so they just give me extra cooked cabbage. They remember my order everytime. Others have enjoyed the mole and the enjococado is spectacular. I tried it at another restaurant after being introduced to it here. Not nearly as good.The back patio is so nice in good weather. When my husband got too sick to travel we went there instead. It was our little remembrance of Mexico.The staff is great. I like to drink a ton of ice tea and they were able to keep up with me. Even when they were busy as they often are. They remember faces and that can't be easy with so much clienteleEven if you are a gringa like me, they will be patient and tell you about the dishes. GO! And make it your favorite spot asap
Great food, service and attentive staff. When I have friends in town I bring them here for authentic Mexican.
This place has great cocktails. Food was quite good too. The place is very lively and has great vibes. The indoor bar/restaurant has many screen playing various sports channels.Among the margaritas, if you like tamarind’s sour, sweet and sharp flavor - Tamarindo margarita is highly recommended.The food portions are quite generous. Like most Mexican restaurants, they serve free nachos and salsa for the table.They have various seating options: indoor, outdoor and patio seating at the back.
Had lunch here today. Got the street tacos (carne asada and carnitas) with a side salad. It was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend.
I'd recommend the milanesa of arrachera (steak) which is pretty good and tasty. They serve corn tortilla chips with some sauce as you get seated. There's both indoor and outdoor seating at the time of writing.
The food in this place has no flavor, they pretend to have a Mexican flavor and it is not, I only give one star because this place seems like a battlefield where some run from one place to another and do not have good service and the manager with an angry face and rude when questioned about the situation, he replies that they are short of workers. I can't believe this restaurant is still open to the public.
Love the food, plenty of vegetarian options, quick and attentive service, and plenty of screens for football days!!
