We ordered from Tandori Flames and it was tasty but super expensive for small portions. The food was mostly sauce. We got 5 entrees for 3 people and we were still hungry.
When my partner and I had COVID earlier this month, we ordered take out from Tandoori Flames. First of all the food was delicious, some of the best Indian we have ever had. The staff also went above and beyond for us when we were missing a minor part of our order, they brought the missing item to our door so we could have the perfect meal from isolation. We feel very lucky to have such an incredible place so close by. We will definitely be ordering again soon.
First time here. And I love the simplicity of the place the ambiance and most importantly the food. It's flavorful and surprisingly filling. Looking forward to trying different. Dish in the future?
We were coming from Big Sur and saw this restaurant listed as open till 9:30, so we decided to stop here for dinner due to the good reviews. We reached there around 9:07 but they denied serving us saying it would be late. Our kids were pretty hungry and we clearly told the restaurant as much, but they wouldn’t serve us still. If you don’t take orders after 9:00, you should say that as your closing time and not mislead people by saying 9:30 as your closing time. If we would have known, we would have stopped at other places on the way.
Tandoori Flames took my taste buds on a rollercoaster, and I'll definitely be riding again soon!To start: you should know going in, the portions are enormous. One tandoori entree, an order of rice, and an order of naan is probably more than enough food for the average couple. I didn't know this, so I'll be enjoying leftovers for a while!I started out with the samosas chaat; as someone relatively new to Indian food, I struggled to even comprehend the variety and complexity of flavors and textures. It was delicious. Order some naan on the side to enjoy what's left after you finish the samosas.The chicken tikka and tandoori chicken were both excellent. The portions were enormous, and the sauces offered strong complimentary flavors. When I come back, I'll definitely order one tandoori entree and one curry, to balance out the wet-to-dry ratio, and give me more sauce for dipping naan.The menu is large, but it's not intimidating; there are helpful explanations for every dish. If your spicy tolerance is low (like me), go for a refreshing mango lassi. But if you like spicy food, get one just because it tastes really good.The restaurant was clean and comfortable, and the table had plenty of space to fill with dishes. My server did an outstanding job and took my experience to the next level. Quite honestly, it would be difficult for me to find a substantive critique of Tandoori Flames. I will be back, often.
Just had their buffet today at lunch. Very tasty, esp. the veggie dishes. Excellent service in a clean and well-lighted environment. Some may find the price too high at 15.99, but it does come with tea and a very generous amount of either plain or garlic nan. Highly recommended.
Food was excellent! Really appreciate food is labeled as, and they have many options for gluten free. We called 1.5 hours in advance to have food ready for pickup at 6pm. It wasn't ready until 6:15. We were on a time constraint, so this was very frustrating. I had to ask for spoons and napkins, they weren't included by default in the bag. I would recommend if you come, come to dine in with no time constraints.
We had the tandoori chicken and goat curry. My English husband said he was well impressed with the food & I couldn't stop eating the chicken. The server was extremely helpful & kind. Excellent meal & service.
This is a pretty decent place! I visited with my friends for a late lunch, service is pretty good too. Servers are friendly! I loved the tandoori chicken starter and samosa chaat. Chicken korma and malai kofta could have been a little better. Overall a nice restaurant and decent tasting food! I would recommend this one.
Our first time here. The service was excellent and the food, absolutely delicious! As their name implies, though, the dishes are spicy.
