Good sushi, low key spot with large strip mall parking
No complaints. The sushi here is delicious!
I ordered the Tempura Udon to go yesterday, 4/11. Price marked on the online menu is $11 and change. When I picked it up, they charge me $20.41!! The tempura, only thinly sliced yam, was overbattered. The broth was completely devoid of any flavor. I was a first time customer and will never go back.
We ordered 2 Spider rolls & 3 Teriyaki bowls & they did not taste as good 4 to 5 months ago.The spider roll crust seemed too sweet & were cut into thin pieces which made it harder to pickup without falling apart. The Teriyaki bowls were also thin cuts, seemed to be boiled first then quickly thrown on the grill for a moment.I believe if it were not for the teriyaki sauce it would be bland. To me Panda Express Teriyaki chicken has significantly more flavor; even without the sauce! We are so disappointed. This was our go to especially for the Spider Rolls.
It was delicious Ray prepared our food. We had Crunchy roll, Cassie roll, California roll, Jalapeños & Miso soup it was yummy!!!
I was recommended to this restaurant by the front desk ladies of the hotel I was staying at. Would I go again, sure, but not until they allow indoor seating.I, as a solo diner, was treated as a toxic guest, and was not provided any information other than their closing time (roughly 45 minutes from the time I had arrived). The couple at the table next to me had had half of their meal delivered by the time their check had arrived. I was asked for my order prior to anyone letting me know that it was QR code only (my fault, as I'm sure the owners would defend themselves with). I started with a hot tea, as every restaurant can offer that.Food was great. Hot green tea was hot, piping, great to hold my hands on during a cold winter night. Gyoza was served crisp, and steaming, sauces were delectable. I ordered a Yellowtail Ngiri, super delish. My beef udon was served in a reasonable time, with appropriate toppings and side seasonings upon request. I asked for a Kirin to go with it, which paired very well.Outside of first impressions, the meal was great. As a solo diner, I can appreciate hesitancy and caution while being served. I made no comments to the servers, as I was in my own world (hood up, PJs on, Face glued to the phone). My space heater was removed prior to my meal being completed, and no apologies were offered, nor comment made to inform me that this action was being done. I tasked myself with letting the staff know that I had completed my meal and was leaving. How long it would have taken them to realize, I have no idea- as NOT ONCE during my meal did any of their staff ask me how, or if, I was enjoying myself.Overall, a forgettable experience.
Everything is always fresh and the service is great. The Jalapeno Popper appetizer never fails to hit the spot.
The foods are very tasteful.Service is very good.Restaurant is very clean. I will recommend this restaurant to my friends.
The Best Sushi in Bay Area. Love the Jalopeno Popping. I give them 2 thumbs up.
My family and I have been going to Ichiban for years! The service and food are great. They always acommodate special requests and are very considerate. I will go out of my way to get sushi from here because I know I will always be satisfied.
