We had an excellent meal with great service.

Could've been worse. At first glance the place felt uninviting. We walked in and it seemed like the entire staff stopped what they were doing and just looked at us. No greeting. There's no host or front station so we had no idea if we were to seat ourselves or if someone was coming to help us. We had a reservation yet a family the same size came in after us without one and got seated first. The place just feels unclean. The staff look sloppy. Can't tell waiter from server from busperson. The guy who took our order looked like a gambling addict with a hangover. There were flies. A street person with a bucket just walked in trying to sell flowers to the customers and no one did anything about it. They served bread but no side plates. They forgot our appetizer. They never asked us if we wanted drinks. Our food at least looked good. The food was average. They only partially cleared our table before serving dessert. The other customers looked like they just stumbled out of Walmart. That's fine if you're just looking to fill up. But if you are looking for a nice place to a take a special someone for some particular occasion or date, this ain't the place. Betto's is basically a fancy diner. Only more expensive. If you're looking for a job, I noticed 3 or 4 "help wanted" signs posted on door and windows.
Service was absolutely horrible! My girlfriend and I went here for lunch last week. We were one of the first tables sat just after opening at 11am. The server didn't say hello or give us his name or anything. Once our food arrived he never asked if we needed anything else "which I did want some black pepper." He didn't bother to check back on us and never ever refilled our drinks and water. I won't go back to this place again!!
Mother's Day we had a reservation at Betty's we get there and we wait 20 minutes just to find out that we had to wear another 20 minutes so we decided to give them a great review.Happy mothersday
We organized a family dinner at Betto's on a Friday night. It was crowded and felt like there were too many tables inside and ours was right up against the bar because we were a big group. It would probably have been better to get a table on the back patio because I felt like I could have easily involved myself in the conversations right behind me. The prime rib was amazing and probably one of the best I ever had, perfectly served medium rare. Everyone else at the table enjoyed their food but most of us ordered the prime rib which is only available on Friday and Saturdays.

Party of 40 in the banquet room on Sunday morning. One wait person for the entire room, and he was also working the main dining room. That man was a hero! Even though he must have been overwhelmed, he never showed it, and he kept a good sense of humor.One-star reduction for the owner: a couple of people ended up with cold food and went to ask for a reheat in the microwave. The owner threatened to terminate the wait person. We informed the owner that the restaurant was fortunate to have him.
The staff was so kind and attentive, refilling hot water and coffee often. They now have gluten free sides including banana bread, bruschetta hash browns (which was actually delicious!), and carrot bread. The carrot bread was dry but otherwise yummy!
Each and every time we dine with here, the food is AMAZING with tastes that will make your heart happy. Excellent service every time with attention to timely food delivery. Cocktails are top notch as well. Please don’t leave Morgan Hill anytime in the future. Consistency is important to me and Betto’s nails it every time!’
