There can be a bit of wait time if you go on the weekend. Waitresses are attentive. The sushi is simply not prepared well. Sometimes we got good fish and other times we got nasty fish that was hard or completely inedible. The cooks put no effort into making proper rolls. The rice is excessive and the roll is uneven. There’s few options for sushi in Moreno Valley (especially AYCE since COVID) but I’d suggest you skip this place.
The service was very good. the sushi was giving stater brothers I did enjoy the Michelada. Over all pricey but if your not into sushi this might be the place.
Went in for the ayce during lunch. It was about 25 per person. Food was decent but they put a ton of rice in the sashimi and the rolls. I mean they literally stuffed it with rice. I had to take off a chunk of rice from each nigiri piece to be able to enjoy it. There was a sliver of protein on the nigiri so yeah that wasn’t cool. Other places I’ve been to if they put a lot of rice, they compensate by putting a big chunk of fish on top or a smaller portion of rice with a bigger piece of fish but not here. They also skimped out on the protein in the rolls too. Their ayce menu is different from others, ie no shrimp tempura or miso soup for the ayce and some specialty rolls not included, you have to pay extra for them. The service was good, the ladies were on top of checking on their customers. Definitely won’t come back though because they just stuffed you with rice so it turned me off from coming back here again.
I hate to say but this is the worst sushi place I've ever been to in my life. It's on par to gas station sushi. Maybe I came on a bad day or something but we got all you can eat and the sushi was soooo loaded with rice, it was more rice than anything else. Don't get me wrong I love my sushi rice but their rice wasn't even seasoned, it was like they just wrapped everything in globs of unflavored rice. Everything was so bland and just bad. Like it wasn't even just not good, it was horrible. I hate that I even spent money here to be completely honest. Such a disappointment. Save your money and go to Taiyos sushi and poke or literally anywhere else.
My first time here was better than my recent last night visit . The girls were very nice (first visit back in April) but the edamame being cold and flavorless was a turn off . Sushi was good so I brought my family here last night to try again. Our server NELSON was very disappointing , he never checked on us , had no table manner , during an all you can eat sushi buy we were left without food literally most of the time! And the sushi rice they rolled with was very cold .Don't believe all of the hype. this is unfortunate because we're so close . I would've tipped zero if my Husband let me
We had a few different kinds of sushi and all was super, but you’ve got to try the popcorn sushi…that was killer. It was a nice place, good service and next time I’m in Moreno Valley I’m definitely stopping back by.
This was my first time experiencing all-you-can-eat sushi and I had a great time. My friend and I had just finished a hike and so we were ravenous for food. Highly recommend their hand rolls (salmon skin was my favorite!). They also have the option of making the sushis "Miguel style" which includes a topping of pickled onions and spicy oils. It's different but worth a try!
I love the hot night roll a lot! But every time I get it I notice something different it’s never consistently good. One half will have nothing basically just all rice… (sushi should have the inside ingredients throughout the roll, not just one half) and also a few times my spicy tuna was like rotten, black looking and nasty.
Best place to get sushi in town! Fresh fish and awesome rolls. Excellent service as well.
The sushi was delicious! It was a good 10/10 and out waiter Alondra was super friendly . For my first experience here I will definitely be back again thank you !
