They said they were only doing it today but we had all of our party there except for 3 people, a total of 9, and they wouldn't see us until we all got in the restaurant then by the time we all got there we had to wait probably a good 45 minutes for a table to open up. Whoever started this this whole thing you can't be seated until your whole party arrives It is pathetic in my opinion. We are there ready to spend money and eat and drink and you won't see this idea has got to go! All that said once we were finally in we had a great waitress who just started 3 days ago we tipped her most generously and she was wonderful her name was Cheyenne. The food was great we all had a good time.
I ordered the famous super stockyard and I had it done medium rare and the steak turned out amazing. This is honestly one of the best steaks I have ever had and it was for a reasonable price. The steak had a nice crispy exterior. For the sides I had the chili which was decent. Don't usually have chili but I would order it again. Did not come with any toppings so I would probably order a side of onions next time. I also had a side of vegetables which were cooked perfectly, they were soft but not to the point to where they begin to break apart and mash up. This came with a garlic bread which was really good. Dipped it into the juices of the steak and A1 sauce. We ordered a sampler appetizer which came with onion rings, zucchini sticks and potato skins and I would definitely recommend this platter. Onion rings and zucchini sticks were lightly breaded and cooked just right. Potato skins were crispy on the outside and soft inside. Delicious dipped in ranch.
Literally the best stockyard cut I’ve ever had. For 18 bucks it is better than the majority of 25+ dollar steaks I’ve had from much bigger places.Nothing left on my plate from how good it was.
I’ve lived in Moreno Valley for a little over a year and have always seen this place driving up and down Perris Blvd. I 1000% regret not trying this place sooner! The food was amazing, deserts amazing, they offer beer and wine, and the service was great. I got a steak and it was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had at a restaurant. It was so buttery and juicy. We tried the apple tart for dessert and it tasted homemade. I loved the country style decor and great country music. We will definitely be back here.
I'm only giving s 4 star because the salad was AWFUL! All the white part of iceberg, yuck!The steak was fabulous & when we asked for more butter for our baked potato, we were given a small dish piled high with butter!!
Hungry? Steer n Stein is a nice restaurant located in Moreno Valley, off JFK & Perris Blvd. The portions are plentiful. My favorites, the Fried Zucchini. Enough for a family of four. It’s always fresh. This Zucchini some of the best in Moreno Valley. Another favorite, Grilled Cold Water Cod. The Fish n Chips is amazing as well. Always fresh clean taste. In fact so are the salads! Another flavorful dish is the Beef Dip, they slow roast this. Amazing flavor. This is a nice n clean restaurant. Great for the family or a date night.
Can’t vouch for other locations but this MValley was thee best restaurant I’ve been to in California in a long time! The service was 5 star! the food was cooked to perfection the kitchen staff enjoy and take pride in working there based on how they prepared and presented my to go order! I will only go to this location. Try everything but my fave is the cheese burger add grilled onions with potato skins as my side! Honestly I can’t explain how something so simple was ?
I was really surprised. The food was delicious and they have the best fried zucchini I have ever tasted. The steak and seafood are very delicious. I will be returning.
Wonderful place! Clean, nice atmosphere, and service is always excellent. The food is consistently wonderful. My daughter LOVES their chicken noodle soup. Everything on their menu is delicious!
It's one of the best steakhouses around! Steaks are juicy and delicious. We usually order the Stockyard steak and the Bacon wrapped Tri-tip filet steak. They are so good! Tonight, we had the Ribeye and the Super Stockard with baked potatoes.The food was absolutely delicious! Servers are always nice; the lady that served us tonight was excellent!
