Cool experience right now at the Sonora grill! Real awesome location and there's a lot of space inside really nicely decorated with sports memorabilia and lots of other cool stuff! The food was great I got to say! I ordered the super asada fries my son got a quesadilla asada! My cousin got a Mexican pizza! And my homie got a Sonora Burger with the p&j habanero hot wings which are the signature hot wing of this restaurant! And my opinion which was more tasty than anything we've ordered those wings are incredible and I will be back with my family! Peanut butter jelly and habanero that's something you don't get to try everyday but believe me I've been around I've tried some good stuff I've tried some great stuff and then there's another bracket above that which is amazing! And these wings fall in that category! Come on down and see for yourself! Great prices and the quality is there! Friendly staff and what else More can you ask for!
This place is a hidden gem, they have a lot of great delicious dishes to choose from. The kitchen is open, so you're able to see everything they're cooking, and everything looked amazing. I ordered their special for today which was the Chorizo Mesquite Taco, and also got the Super Nachos al pastor. Both were huge servings, for the price, and both so delicious, will definitely be going back, I highly recommend this place. Their staff was very cordial and friendly, thank you Ray for telling me more about the dishes.
This is one of those best kept secrets of Moreno Valley. The staff were very friendly and courteous. The Owner was on the premises and greeting her customers. Most of all, THE FOOD WAS GREAT!! I recommend the cajun fries. Enough for two. Also the bone-in chicken. (Picture is on my son enjoying those "finger-lickin chicken wings)
Hands down the best spot in town to eat. Great food, beer, and the staff and owners are amazing! Tonight, their special was their chicken teriyaki burrito. It was amazing!
I've been hearing about this spot for a while so I decided to pick up one of their famous sonoran hot-dogs for lunch. I knew as soon as I opened the to-go box that I was in for a treat.I loved the presentation of the hot-dog, it looks very iconic and I think it stands out among its hot-dog competitors. The bolillo was warm and soft, like a cloud. The salsas on the hotdog were very mild, but flavorful. I also appreciate that they use beef hot dogs. They also added sour cream, mustard, and mayonnaise on the hot-dog which added extra tang and flavor.Another unique addition was pinto beans! The beans didn't add much as far as flavor goes, but they did add an interesting texture. You have the soft, pillowy bun, the snappy hot dog, and the tender bite of the perfectly cooked beans.I would come here again, it seems like they have a great menu full of tasty options, not to mention beer on tap!
Hospitality was great. Carne asada has very unique taste some may like it and some may not.. personal opinion not my favorite but in the burrito it's not bad. Overall good place.
It was ok, not worth the hype IMO. I got the El Chapo burrito which is just bacon wrapped but to me the meat had a little funky taste and I can't quite figure out what it is but I didn't like it. My daughter got the Super fries and she said her meat tasted like it had BBQ sauce kinda sweet. If we would've wanted BBQ we would've never gone to this place. Like I said definitely not worth the hype, the place is nice and definitely have shareable portions for the price. It might be good for other people but it definitely wasn't for me.
A cozy spot where you can get delicious Mexican food and enjoy some of their craft beer! Came in around 8:30 with a group of friends and was greeted by the friendly staff members who took our orders.First of all, their customer service is top notch as some of our friends are vegetarians and the lady who was working the register made sure that their food was vegetarian friendly! But most importantly, the food is even better! The surf n turf nachos are packed generously with a lot of meat and topped up with sauce & jalapeños! Their California Burrito is also extremely tasty and filling.Definitely check out this spot if you’re in the area!
Opted for the Heartbreaker (or Sonoran hotdog for Tuscan natives) and it's a heart stopper. Good portion for the price. Beer selection was good too
My family & I stopped in on 5.15 for dinner. My brother in law had been wanting to try this place out & I met up with them after work. We originally thought we could order at the location but upon arrival we saw signs stating phone orders only (May 2020). So we waited in the lot and phoned in our order. They asked us the make and model of our vehicle and they personally bring out the order and charge us once the order is ready. We were given a total but no timeframe. It wasn't a big deal to us because we heard all the hype about this place and were cool to wait. This location is in a small lot area & near a ton of auto repair shops and other misc businesses. But there seems to be a good amount of parking. We waited a good amount of time and they came out with our order & total. FYI my takeaway from this is to phone in your order because I don't know if they will be taking in person orders anytime soon. Also their hours & dishes vary daily. We ordered a ton of things to share.Fish tacos- super bomb! Prob my favorite thing I tried here. But I think they only offer this on certain days.Street Dogs-bacon, beans, tomatoes, jalapeño, onion, mustard and mayo.Surf n Turf Nachos- ( they were out of carne asada) chicken & shrimp. The nachos had refried beans and cheese, guacamole salsa, pico de Gallo, jalapeños and Baja creama. Super bomb af. Loaded with shrimp and chicken.Pastrami & Carnitas Fries- again super amazing, we ordered it with carnitas instead of carne asada. this was prob the highlight of the meal. it had mustard on it as well.Churros- we mostly ordered these for the kids but my niece seemed to be thrown off by the filling on the inside of the churro. I thought it was really good.Overall good experience at this location, they mande sure there were enough utensils & napkins & didn't skimp on the meats. Check out their IG for their daily specials and hours of operation.
