I am sooooo disappointed! It's been months since I've had Popeye's and I was really looking forward to Red Beans & Rice and a two piece meal deal. The Red beans & rice went up 40% in price and the container shrank by 1/3. Then there wasn't enough beans to mix them correctly and they cut waaay back on the seasoning!!!The chicken pieces were small and extra greasy, these two items with a drink came to over $17.00 !! We can't blame this on Covid, this is just sad. It's a shame but, I'm done with Popeye's. I wonder if this one is privately franchised or corporate? It's on Iris Street.
This restaurant needs to get it together. One cook in the back. A line and they are slow as can be. No sense of urgency. I order my food first and the other customers that came after me they get their order first. You have a supposedly new Assist Manager that does help the line move faster. She rather gossip to her employees that come in street clothes about the gossip. Instead of helping customers. Stay away don't waste your money.
The worst Popeyes very disorganized and slow as f#@k. I stood in line for over 20 minutes just to have my order taken. After 20 minutes I left. The cashier decided to start making sandwiches instead ok f taking orders, the cook went to make himself a drink and one person bagging orders a decked out in his gold chains very casually. Oh yeah 3 employees sat in the dining room talking while the line built up. Always a mess at this location.
This was one of the worst services it seemed all they had was chicken they were literally out of everything. After saying their machine was broken for the frozen lemonade I went to the fountain drinks and of course it was also out of most of the flavors.
I am highly upset I just went into this popeyes the lady took the order in front of me and them told me to hold one moment. She began to make the order for the person that was in front of me while the rest of the workers were talking. I understand being on break or coming in early not necessarily clocked in but it is irriating when I am standing here 5 minutes waiting for my order to be taken and seeing all these people not trying to help the customer
Was 40 mins before closing time barely had any food as was UNWILLING to accommodate with either substituting or offering cook more. Soda machine was not properly working. NOT girl on regisiter but fellow from bk thre pan and very rude with customer n fellow Co worker when asked to fix it. Already was pretty much locking doors. I will never ever visit this location again.
Horrible service. Ordered online for mild chicken, for 8:15pm the manager said I have to wait another 15minutes & then after I wait she said she has no mild chicken. Inconvenient And unprofessional.

Hire more people and give them better pay. You all take too long, manager has an attitude, and 40min wait for food. Better pay = Better service. I don't blame the workers since they have to deal with a slow manager who won't follow directions when their crew ask for more spicy tenders. If they say make a lot then make a lot. Stop giving them an attitude and ask "How much is a lot" , just make the tenders you are already 10 orders behind.
They always seem to be out of stuff and having internet issues. The people are nice and accommodating. It's fine if you don't mind the wait or the hassle, but if you're in a rush looking to get in and out, I suggest you push on.Side note, I've gotten two chicken sandwiches that barely had any chicken on them. Quality control is pretty minimal.
