We ordered the Bentox Box with the Chicken Katsu, the meat came fried but half of it was black, not the breading because it wasn't burned but the actual meat. I did not eat it but paid my $40.00 bill and left. I DO NOT RECOMMEND eating food from this place. Sadly, it used to be good.
Sushi tasted very fresh and delicious. Restaurant was clean and waiters were friendly. Prices were fair as well. Highly recommend
Some pictures I took from Matsuri. I usually order their famous Golden Tiger, some nigiri, and Shrimp Tempura Roll. Everything tastes good and what I most like about their food is it always tastes same every time I go. They have the same chefs working for long time. I see new servers every time I go so sometimes they don’t know much about sushi but they’re new so I understand. Sushi is bomb though ? can’t BELIEVE their are reviews complaining about minor stuff! They are all very nice people and nice vibe in general. You will see when you go there and experience it yourself. Highly recommend!
The food was okay, the environment was okay. It's a really old place. Some of the plates they delivered our food were chipped. Tables had mismatched chairs.. it's cluttered inside with stacks and stacks of boxes but that wasn't the worst of it... when it came time to pay, I was being overcharged for something I had indeed ordered, forgot about it and THEY NEVER BROUGHT IT OUT TO OUR TABLE! When I brought it to the servers attention, she was nice but the I can only assume was the owner, was mega fiesty. She kept saying she had brought us the dish because she had seen it made. I explained to her it never made it to our table. We still had our plates on the table and I told her multiple times the plates on the table are accounted for except 1. It literally took about 10 minutes for her to give us back 10 bucks (my husband had already paid) but not only did I have to open my left over food to also prove that I never got the dish. It was literally the most ridiculous experience. Will not be back! Support other small businesses!
The food was okay. The sushi was too sweet for my taste. The service was okay as well, and the servers were not rude just not attentive. Spent 52 dollars on two sushi rolls and two appetizers for reference, and the sushi rice fell apart.
***update. I love their sushi best sushi I've had in years.I tried their udon soup which neither my colleague or me found to be delicious considering the price and portion. I will follow up when I try the sushi.
I'm upset I didn't know about this place sooner. It's one of my favorite places to get ramen or sushi in Moreno Valley, since most other options are across town or more expensive.Restaurant is small but comfortable and has lots of options on the menu.
We got the shrimp boats, baked lobster roll, fresh tuna roll, golden tiger roll, and a shrimp tempura roll. All so good, so quick, and so fresh. One of my favorite spots in Moreno valley.
Sushi taste great, however the fact that you are being charged for sauces is outrageous! I understand charging for extra sauce but for one sauce per person that’s Ridiculous. I was told you are being charged for sauces since rolls have sauce on them already. No, all rolls do not have sauces on them. Individuals are spending close too $100 or $100 plus for sushi, why does the act of proving one sauce per person have to be charged. As I stated, I understand charging for extra but not for allowing a customer to have a Sauce
We went here to order takeout, and we will definitely be coming to dine in in the future. We ordered a sashimi tray and black dragon roll, and absolutely loved it. The service was great and the presentation of the sashimi tray was amazing. We cant wait to come back.
