Great fish, shrimp, gumbo, peach cobbler. No credit cards.If you want great customer service you will not get it here.
Absolutely dog water of a place. People were so rude, I get it. Sometimes people have bad days. But when your lively hood depends on your customers, invest in some people skills. Food is subpar compared to others. I’ve had better fried catfish from stater bros… how hard is it to toast bread?Overpriced and the place needs a remodel
Mother’s Day looking to have fried fish for mom. She and my dad hadn’t had Louisiana Seafood in years so that was the choice. The staff will not win any awards in customer service. From the call in order to the gentleman who worked the register, I’m not sure anyone really wanted to help me.Cash or Debit is only taken and there is a charge for debit purchases. This would have been nice to know. They ran out of hush puppies so that was a disappointment, since their options for sides is limited.Mom and dad enjoyed their dinner, however, mine had to be thrown away. The shrimp was spoiled and taste like ammonia.I won’t be making a 30 min drive again for this fish, ever.
I've tried and tried, but unfortunately there is no redemption for this hole of horrors. I called to place my order and the person on the phone actively tried to rush me through my order so much so that he got my order wrong.Upon arrival, there was a couple waiting to order. We both waited approximately 10 minutes(not including the time they wasted prior to my arrival). I stood next to the refrigerated case looking directly at the head of the person working behind the counter until he looked up and saw me looking at him.This is the guy who is usually at the register and is customarily rude, uninterested, and lackadaisical at best. Only 1 time in the 8 years I've lived in Mo Valley and patronized this place has he ever been nice and actually smiled.From the rude customer service to the wrong order and finally to the bullshiggidity that they are passing off as red snapper, I'm done.I will be trying the other place off of Hemlock or Perris that was recommended to me.Thanks for being the prime example of an awful minority run business overtly lacking customer service in even the most minimal way shape or form and misrepresenting the p!!roduct being sold.
Service was friendly. Fries was dry with no season salt. I asked for sole and they gave me red snapper??♂️. Hush puppies was good. Fish was ok. The peices they give you is not full size. They cut 1 in half and call it 2 peices. Probably want go back.
Proceed with extreme caution. Very very poor service. Gumbo tasted weird. Reserve several hours in bathroom time post consumption. Save your stomach and go elsewhere.
The customer service at this establishment is appalling. There was an overweight Caucasian man working the front counter taking orders. I stood waiting for my pickup and I was disgusted by his lack of customer service skills. I could not tell if the food was good because the experience left a poor taste in my mouth. I love to support Black owned businesses but not when customers are not valued. This is not the first time I've been to this establishment. I stopped going because the service has always been poor. But I wanted some fish and decided to see if things had improved. They have not. I will be spending my money with businesses who value me as a customer. Maybe if we stop spending money there and their pockets feel the strain customer service may improve.
I ordered the ? fish combo, food was meh, customer service was bad, no napkins or utensils were given. They charge for tartar sauce, they don't give enough hot sauce. I was not even greeted as I ordered. I would not come back.
If I could give it zero stars I would. The service is so bad and so unprofessional and the staff is so rude as if they have a problem/attitude with everything you ask honestly the presence of customers they seem mad and it shows with their customer service and the food was just as bad gave me the complete opposite of what I ordered and the quality of it wasn’t good.
My first time eating here. The one and only reason I’m giving a 4 star is that catfish fillet were on the thin side. I’ll be going back, the food was good.
