I walked in asking for 3 family meals & even though they were fully stocked I was told they are not allowed to sell it to me. That i have to order through their catering number but they will only fulfill my order after 24 hours. Dude, I need the food for today's lunch! I asked if I can just buy 10 taco plates and he discouraged me from buying it because it would take them a long time to package it. Seriously!!!! I went to Pollo Loco and bought 3 Family meals which include Churros. Win - win! I will never go to Cafe Rio again.
I ordered a flour tortilla tosada. The flavor was good. However, the rice was hard and there was entirely too much lettuce. It was more like a salad. I will never order that again! Dressing was offered with the tostada as well, next time I'll order a salad since that's what it resembled. The shell was soft and the rice was hard.
The food is great and you get to choose your options with meat, vegetables and sauces for your tortilla and everything is simple and fun to eat ? ? ?.
The service was exceptional and the food was tasty. The employees working when my family came in were so kind and helpful. One of the gentlemen assembling the food made a special burrito for my daughter who is a very picky eater. She ate the whole thing! I am so grateful for such wonderful people like these folks. Thank you all so much for working so hard and going above and beyond for us! You all need a raise.
I ordered 1 taco with rice and beans. There was enough meat in the taco for 1/3 of the tortilla. And the rice was weirdly crunchy and not good tasting.
Food was fine. Prices seemed high and didn't like getting nickeled and dime for everything. Food makers were pleasant and quick.
Vegetarians Beware: $15.99 for a bean and cheese burrito. It was a good bean and cheese burrito since they melted the cheese though lol?
Great food, but too tight with the meat. Im only 120 lbs, but I can eat and would like more meat. Those two tablespoon scoops are not cutting it. The food is scrumptious and the public wants more of it.
The best beef burrito I've ever tasted. The prices are reasonable. Can't wait to go back to this establishment. Loved it!!!
Knowing that a lot of people unfortunately don't want to work these days, it's really a pleasure to come here to grab some delicious grub and be served by people with genuine enthusiasm. I honestly am not the greatest on remembering names consideringhow much I order from here, but I just want it to be known to the superiors of this establishment that everyone there deserves a raise with how hardworking and kind the entire team there is. Keep it up guys!
